  1. Congrats Madelyn from another Sox gal!! We did the same... started locally and our DW was more than I ever could have imagined!!! Any ideas yet on where you are looking If ya need any help... just let us know!!
  2. Oh honey, I wouldn't worry about the older "thoughts" to a wedding. This is your wedding and a DW to boot! We have always said .. anything goes.. so go with that if you want a veil then go for it. I did.. as have our son who is 6.. lots of gals on here have gotten married who have kids, and own our homes together way before we ever got an E-ring.. I think a perfect veil to compliment your dress by the way, my hubby is sitting right here with me and he LUVS your dress choice... is a simple 1 or 2 tier longer in length to flow with your dress!!!

Honestly, I could not tell you which ones they were as I bought them a year ago and do not have the paperwork for them any longer. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help.
  4. Oooo well I think I have ya all beat on this one ... I opened my email when I got home from work and ended up with 67 private message emails for one actual PM sent to me. CRAZZYYYY!!!
  5. UPDATE:Pending Payments 5 Shell runners Yellow and Blue Tote Silver Strappy Shoes SOLD 10 PACKAGES OF SHELL CANDLES
  6. Don't stress just yet!!! Think this "You WILL be able to find something somewhere!!" Heck if you have to make it 6 weeks then go for that. Remember no set time you need to have your AHR. Find a place you like and just see what dates they have available, unless you are really stuck on a date. It will all turn out great no matter what or where you find. I said that my AHR wasn't going to stress me... but I won't lie... silly things pissed me off the most.. BUT the hard part is out of the way... by then you will already be married and who cares bout anything else... the word to think about is FUN!!!
  7. Congrats and welcome to the forum Lousie!! like mentioned you will become addicted to the site... everything is so helpful and we are always ready to help out in any way we can!

Its hard to pay for a lot of this stuff now without even looking at pics of the flowers, etc....Its great to know that the real planning will occur when we get to the resort. :-) Thanks again! Your Welcome Tracie!! Make and do the things you want to do now and figure out the rest when you get down to St Lucia. I just don't get the WC in Miami ..they are all like you said though... take forever and a day to get back to you... they are not on island time... and HULO just answer my question.. that is really all you have to do, is it that hard Planning is sooo easy, you will get a book in your room to look over everything along with your time in meeting the WC ... also, bring down pictures of ideas... this way if you are thinking of something but want to make it look like something in particular they can match. If you will be using colors for sashes, runners. those types of things... I would run this by the WC in Miami just so that they can order it for your date. In Jamaica, these types of things are stored at all the different Sandals/Beaches locations so they need to call ahead and have them brought over to the resort. If ya need anything else just let me know!

  18. Hey Amy CONGRATS and welcome to the forum from a fellow Negril Bride. I tried to sneek a peek for Kayte (Sloan) when I got married and it looks to be awesome! As any Riu is ... I am sure you will have an awesome time!! Check with Sloan to see as I think she is the closest in getting married at RTB.
  19. BB&B was my main list... They are actually in a good place right now with LNT gone.. and the 1st Q Earnings that will be out in a bit don't look to be horribly bad either. Sorry I work in stock and marketing futures.. But rest assured they have a nitch in the market for what they offer...
  20. I wish I could help you.... I am looking at Breezes simply because of the promo they are having right now for our 1 yr anni. The rates right now are super cheap, but like you I have seen some of the reviews and well ... I don't know how to feel bout them... Let's hope someone can help us out!
  21. It does look really great and you did it yourself so I would be happy with any outcome as long as I didn't mess it up. JoAnn's was always my #1 stop for all things wedding. I always found so much more with them than the other "Big" craft stores. Congrats on getting all blinged out!!!
