In fact, a lot of photographers from the USA give huge discounts because they know you will have to pay for their travel expenses. Most of the sites I have stumbled across are a lot cheaper than hiring Vanessa Vargas, Citali, Claudia, del Sol, etc, and their pictures look just as amazing. Im just curious what everyone thinks of that and if anyone has thought about doing that themselves. Pros versus Cons anyone Hi Zorlock, I tried to do that and it almost came out the same. I just didnt think it would be worth it for them to travel them across country for 2 days and then back home so I just went with Cecilia Dumas and she worked an excellent deal with me. If you are interested in her fees PM me.

We don't need it for music, because we are planning on hiring a Mexican trio. What is your opinion? For those who were married in Cancun, do you think you needed a sound system? Thanks! I recommend you read the Dreams Cancun Thread and get more info, Im sure you will be able to get all your questions answered.

I'm getting the idea that if you don't 'order' it from them, they put stuff up anyways because they did that with one other gal. I think they must try to sell it first but then do it anyways because they want it to look nice too because other people will see the weddings and want to have their wedding there in the future... ?? Was it the same that Kat had-- vase with sand and I think a shell or something? Trying to decide if I should just leave the centerpieces alone. Samantha, your date is coming up...OMG IM soo excited for you!! woo hoop!

Try Cecilia Dumas she charges 500.00. Also, since your on a budget, why dont you go with a miniature package..you can go with Cancun Studios for two hours-100 images (high resolution) (includes romantics and family) NO RECEPTION though $650.00 and then add a TDD session on top of that for $350.00. And that will include 1.5 hours at your session and 50 images on a CD. Its a great deal if you are on a budget!! Good Luck
  14. Im doing Fuschia with a touch of Damash...Im interested in your runners except Im having round tables and I want the ones that are done not the ones that are just cut. Congratulations to you both! The photographs show it was a beautiful heartfelt day! #2 Cancun bride, when you compare the prices with the photographers in Cali it is good to be sure you are comparing apples to apples, ie. experience and ability of the photographer and also what is included in that price. If the fee includes only the session and you need to purchase all the images afterwards it may not be the "deal" it appears. I think that most experienced photographers will charge at least that as a creative fee if they are including the set of edited high resolution files. If the full size files are not included it would be good to find out what the cost would be to purchase all those images (even the ones you don't want to have printed will be part of your memories and you will probably want to have them!) and then compare pricing based on that! Hope that helps! best, Elizabeth Thank you so much, makes alot of sense!

Not sure if Im even suppose to be exposing those to everyone but oh well... lol What is the difference between her and Claudia? I hear Claudia's work is amazing also but I have yet to see her TDD. I think TDD is a bit to expensive, I saw some photographer charging 500.00 I just dont know which one it was... -ugh!
  17. So I finally got a response back from Claudia regarding TDD fee the next day, she told me it was going to be $850.00. wooooooow! Thats more than what they charge out here in CA... So I decided to ask her to send me a sample of the work and this is what she sent me, so I wanted to share with you girls the clip. The TDD doesn't really look like its anything that I was expecting for an $850.00 shoot. As a matter of fact, after finishing up the entire clip I was still waiting to see the TDD pix. I have seen so many on this site that I think my expectations are pretty high. Dont get me wrong, Im still booking her for my wedding but I think TDD is too overpriced. Did you pay extra for the reception dinner or were you allowed to have a semi-private dinner in one of the restaurants without getting charged extra? I have so many questions because I am still trying to decide on a resort. I was originally going to have it at Dreams Puerto Aventuras, but now I'm hearing that you can't use a mexican photographer at all, which I think is outrageous. Hi strongly recommend that you read through this thread...you will eventually find all your answers here.
