  1. Im having most of my guests stay at Dreams but my parents and his parents have decided to stay at El Presidente which is also an all inclusive but cheaper. How strict is the hotel with guests who do not stay there?

Let us know if Dreams will allow him, I am very curious to find out I talked to Doremixx today, he said he is good friends with Mannia and I believe Dreams will allow him but there is that guest fee that they charge for an outside vendor. Please keep us posted.
  3. I love this idea but since Im getting married right on the beach, what are the chances of the cardstock bending due to the breeze?
  4. after discussing back and forth for almost 7 months on what we are going to do about centerpieces, and after making 8 pomanders taking me almost 5 hours each... we decided to just buy the centerpieces at Dreams. Its too much of a hassle to get them shipped, and the price is ridiculous!!! Almost 400.00. We also needed to ship the stands for the pomanders and there made out of a heavy white glass, each centerpiece consisted of three hurricanes, and three pomander balls with tons of roses. Im so bummed out because I absolutely loved my centerpieces and I made them but we decided to just go with this..

Jenny, there signature report but we got them from Nordstrom Rack, we're all different sizes so it worked out great. I think they are last years design and have been discontinued but one of my bridesmaids is selling a pair she bought last year on ebay because they were too small on her. I think she wore them once but they are in mint condition, theyre a size 7. Here is the link if your interested. http://cgi.ebay.com/Report-Signature...3%3A1|294%3A50
  17. so I went wedding shopping with the FI yesterday in search of my bridesmaids dresses and I found a BCBG dress that I loved but it was running for $190.00. I didnt want my bridesmaids to spend alot of money on their dresses since there already spending more than enough money on the trip. I walked into Forever and I found a knock off of the BCBG dress that I originally wanted for $24.00. I ended up buying all my bridesmaids their dresses and the FI and I just decided to let them have them without any reimbursement. Ended up spending less that $150.00 for 5 dresses. We will all be wearing these shoes...

  21. I know after the ceremony the bride and groom take off for pictures. Once they come back I have been reading that there is an entrance song or something..... Does anyone know if this is like something that needs to be done? I am clueless on a song for this!! haha
  22. I am a little paranoid also with taking a taxi from the airport to the hotel considering all the stuff that's going on in Mexico right now. If anyone knows whether Dreams offers transportation for pick up I would love to have any contact information..
  23. I had the same problem but what I did was I added the TA information on my website then I added the TAs info also on the save the date as well. We waited to see how many people booked with TA before we sent out formal invites. Guests were calling us and asking us questions so we kind of knew who was coming and who wasnt. Then we sent out the formal invites to the people we knew were coming just so that we wouldnt spend unnecessary money on formal invites for people who werent attending. On the save the dates I added wording saying to pls rsvp for formal invites on website or by calling me or TA. Regardless I had a few people saying there were coming and ended up flaking.. Just keep track of your website.. On mine I have a rsvp button and that leads you to a mailing address box where you input your address for formal invite. Good Luck
