I did mine in a real mixed bag - depending on whom it was going to... People who were married were generally Mr & Mrs Robert Doe then there are some guests whom I knew this would upset b/c of the women's liberation movement so they read Mr & Mrs Robert and Jane Doe Then there are those that were for families, for the most part they were addressed to The Doe Family but... in the case of some blended families (where the kids don't all have the same last name) Mr and Mrs Robert Doe & Leah, Alex, and Seth awkward - but you need a solution If people were living together I put Robert Doe and Jane Smith but if they were dating and not living together they received separate invites addressed to their respective locations and we instituted the + guest rule. So it would be Jane Smith and Guest We did them on a case by case basis. You know your guests and will generally know how this would be accepted. There are so many different living situations, that a blanket rule is far too difficult.

We think we are having a stag and doe - (aka jack and jill), I say think because FI and I expressed that we wanted one, thought we'd be involved in the planning - but our wedding party took it over completely - which is exciting, but I like planning stuff...lol I can't agree more about stag and does being a fun time!~!!

We will be in Cuba the exact same time with a pro photographer, but will be no where near Holguin or Santa Maria.... We'll be in Varadero. I know a lot about Varadero, but little about Holguin or Santa Maria - other than the fact that many people that have visited Santa Maria say that the area is very secluded, gorgeous, but little to do other than on resort activities. We love Varadero!

If you have a great travel agent she can take care of this for you - at a lower cost - i believe - well... i mean at least it is worth a shot, right? the alternative is getting married here in Canada, then having a symbolic ceremony in Cuba. That is common practice too! Good Luck!!!

I listen to Cosmo Radio everyday on the way to and from work - Taylor, Kenny, and Victoria on Wake-up with Cosmo - are hilarious. I love their topics and laugh pretty much the whole way to work.
