Thanks Ladies. I appreciate it. Im feeling better today. I just have to take each day as it comes. Ive never dealt with the stress I have lately, so I feel out of control sometimes! Yael...Ive always wanted to dry Bikram yoga but am scared Ill pass out! I hear great reviews from everyone that does it though. Scubadiva...I LOVE spinning. Okay ladies Im over my first bridezilla moment. LOL I can make this work. I really wanted our ceremony on the beach but it looks like the beach may be a little bit of a hike from the house. So taking chairs and amplified music would be probably out of the question. So not sure if we are going to make the walk out there and have everyone stand, or just do it on the property with the gazebo type thing. My finance thinks that is the best idea. But I so wanted the beach. Ive been also looking at the seashell bouquets on etsy. I love them. I dont think Im creative enough to DIY it, so may just buy one off one of the esty sellers.

I feel like such a debbie downer everytime I post in here. But the stress from work and wedding planning has caused me to have serious hives outbreak. Its broken out twice and was almost so bad I had to go to the ER. Im talking so swollen in welts an inch off my skin. On my arms, legs, hips, chest, and back! So Ive been put on a 21 days of steriods. Ive been on it for a few days and can already feel the side effects of insomnia. Now weight gain is a side effect to and find myself wanting to gorge everything in sight. HELP!

Omg you guys I feel like such an IDIOT! So the owner of this house emails me a confirmation of our deposit. And the balance owed is $500 more than he orginally told me on the phone. He stated that the security deposit is additional than the quoted price he gave to me for rent for a week. So I asked for a breakdown. Well the price on his website is for 2 people staying in the house. He charges for each additional person. But the house is advertised to sleep 8. I find that a bit shady. He specifically said, that would be to cheap to rent for 8 people. Now the extra $500 is refundable but its $500 more than we expected. Nothing I can do about it now. So I started looking up stats on this house, and the house is actually 3000 sq ft. He advertises 1500 sq ft. The house is really 6 bedrooms, he advertises 3 bedrooms. HE LIVES UPSTAIRS! He never told me that! So he will be home while we are there. The ad does say ground level home. But I didnt think that was one floor be rented! I feel so dumb! And upset! So now I can just tough it out, or be out of $1300. Actually I feel like a complete IDIOT. I knew the price was to good to be true.

Well there is a gazebo type thing on the property. In the pictures of the property its to the right of the beginning of the path. Heres another picture of it....look at the bottom right picture. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c5...dingSample.jpg The owner of the property says everyone just had the ceremony in that spot. I think we could still do the beach if we wanted to. Its not that far of a walk, but we would have to get a special events permit and rent chairs, which is something we werent planning on doing. I think its all the shrubery in the pictures that is throwing me off. When I orginally looked at resorts down there I saw beautiful beaches and sand. So Im being thrown off a bit.

So can I get some your guys input? We are having our wedding/reception at a "beach house" rental. Well its a few minutes from the beach. I spoke with a couple that recently rented the place and had their wedding there. And she sent me some pictures of the place. I guess Im second guessing myself now. Her vibe was defintely different than I think the vibe Im going for. I guess Im trying to figure out the logistics of everything. Like I want a ceremony setup, where she just had everyone stand around. And for the reception she just left the set up like it was...which it can seat about 40 people...but its sporadic seating....and lounging more than a eating setup. I guess Im just looking for some reassurance. Or tell me I need to get overanalyzing. It will all work out. lol Heres the link to her pics... Wow. People seriously mind boggle me. Is she serious? I cant even imagine doing that to one my siblings. Especially when it is for their happiness!

We almost switched to Nov 2nd We are still deciding on the day. Its Wednesday but I thought of switching it to accomodate our guests.... Since we got a house for the week where the wedding is we can have it any day really. I was thinking the later in the week the longer Ill be anxious there! And the shorter the honeymoon part will feel. lol Than I thought if its Thursday people wouldnt have to take so many vacation days..but realistically they will need min. of 3 no matter what day of the week.....except Monday though.... Than flights are cheaper midweek though....can you see I have way to many things on my mind?

Well I just worked out for the first time in 2 weeks. It was ugly. I went to a kickbox cardio class and literally thought I was going to pass out! Gotta start somewhere. Well Im officially a November bride now We had to move our date out two weeks since we decided on a different venue. A beach house rental on Fort Myers Beach, FL. Well almost beach house. A few minute walk to the beach. He had all of October booked up so we moved out into November. It works in our favor anyways because of turtle nesting season. Turtle nesting season ends on October 31st. So up until that date you have to be off the beach by sunset, and no light or noise can be near the beach. But now that we are having the wedding on a home property I guess that doesnt matter sooo much. lol So our wedding date is November 4th. I have only the venue and date down. Although I did get our STD out, but now theres a date change. lol And our wedding website is done to Im excited to start planning out more details now. I just wish I had a few more pictures so I could get a feeling for the layout of the place.... Look forward to getting to know everyone!

You know I looked at the Lovers Key Beach, and they had a nice gazebo/pavillion. Let me know what places you find Danielle...my sister and her family are defintely in on the house. I think we may move forward with it. Finally feels like we are making some headway!

Okay, so this is my latest update. We found this beach home that we want to rent. It sleeps 8, and is right on Ft. Myers Beach. Its beautiful. The owner has done a ton of construction and landscaping work over the last year. Fort Myers Beach vacation house rental - Beautiful Oceanfront Home with Gorgeous Sunsets! He had his own wedding on the property, as well as a wedding a few weeks ago. He says he has enough furniture that I wouldnt have to rent tables/chairs. Nor a tent. He just charges an additional fee for weddings/receptions, and limits it to around 30 people. I already got a great quote on a caterer. And think we defintely could go the pig roast theme having at this house. The owner said there is a gazebo right on the property where the ceremonies have taken place. I really wanted to get married on the beach...but the beach as a dropback isnt so bad. And I wont have to get a special events permit. It would defintely help our budget! So it sleeps 8, and the majority of the guest list is my FI's family. We asked them if they would be interested in staying there. The rental is for 7 nights, but we knew no one would be staying that long so figured at least 3 nights. We would charge them $50 a night per person. His family said no. They prefer a more private space. Its to close quarters and only has two bathrooms. I have 4 members of my family coming, so I figured I could ask them. But have no idea who the other two people I could ask. Most of the other people are our friends, and I thought it might be weird for them to stay in the house with my family since they have never met them. What do you think? I also may have a group of 4-6 friends coming and thought I could offer them to stay in there to save money....but dont want to offend my family of course.
