So I made a decision, Im going with number 4. Without the bow though. Roo66, your completely right. I carry my weight in the midsection (due to my thyroid to!), and I think that number 4 would flatter me the most with the rouching like sash in the middle. Unfortunately I cant find that dress in any bridal salons near me...but Im going to call a few more tomorrow and hope for the best. I saw a real bride wearing it, that was very similar in shape to me, and LOVED it. She got it in the champagne color which is probably the color I will get. Or ivory. Thanks again everyone for your input Ill be sure to post pics once it arrives!

So I never wear makeup. I dont even own one piece of makeup. Ive thought about trying it from time to time, but my hair takes so long to do (so thick!) that I couldnt imagine spending more time getting ready. LOL Anyways, so I figured more than likely I probably wouldnt do wedding makeup. Well my FI's cousin is starting her own business doing facials, waxing, makeup, etc. She also loves wedding planning and is trying to branch off into those services to. Well my FI designed her business website to help her get going, and she wants to do a favor back by doing my wedding makeup. Ive seen her work on herself, and weddings shes done in the last year and they always look good. Shes coming to the wedding (obviously) so I figured why not. You only get married once right? (Shes also going to be my day of coordinator, and has been so helpful in the planning. Double bonus!) So last night we did the trial makeup. It was so weird seeing me with makeup on. At first I was like woah.....I dont know what I think. My FI was hestitant at first, but when I put my glasses back on he said he liked it. By the end of the night he said he was getting use to the different look and loved it. Yay I think I really loved it myself. I thought my eyes looked great, especially wearing glasses you want them to pop behind them. The rest I thought maybe was a little much, like maybe Id like it a little bit lighter.....but after a few hours I really did love it. We went out to meet friends after that, and everyone said how great it looked. Some even said they would of did more smoky eyes. So tell me what you think.... Try not to mind my crooked glasses, they need an adjustment badly. Here are no make up pics first... And with makeup... Without Glasses... And here I am a few hours later....which is where I think it looks great.

Well all the styles are pretty similar...I was looking for pictures when I tried on these styles before but cant seem to find them. The first picture I posted is a trumpet skirt which is similar to these dresses to. I stopped by another cosignment shop today and tried on these styles as well. I do like them, but I just dont like any dress on me. I feel so large. Thanks for the replies....I know its hard to imagine someone in a dress. I like hearing other peoples perspectives on the dresses. I think Ive narrowed it down to two now Im super strapped on time so need to act quick. 47 days to go....

We are just starting to work on this So far we have the song Im walking down the isle to - Ingrid Michaelson's version of Cant Help Falling In Love With You. And the recessional (is that what its called for the song after the ceremony?) is the Beatles 8 days a week.

Dress 5 - Most likely no sash on this. Dress 6 - Love the different textures on the skirt, and the split in the back...but not the tie hanging from the corset...(are those easily removable?)

Okay, so the dress will be in ivory just as an FYI... This first dress she was going to custom make - with a sweatheart neckline, and trumpet skirt. Im not to crazy about the beading at the bottom of the skirt though...but love the bodice and the bolero. Not sure thats "beachy" though, although I guess its my wedding I can wear what I love right Dress 2 - a little unsure of the bow on this one...thought maybe I could replace it with a broach. Dress 3 - love the sleeves! Dress 4 - This beading may be to much for me although in Ivory it might be so blunt? I love the middle sash thingy, especially from the back.

Yes you! Since I dont have a bridal party, I have the next best thing for opinions. BDW Bridesmaids! So thanks to Jacylinda, I am using the same lady that made her dress. So Im trying to narrow down my choices. Now from what Ive tried on, I love the sweatheart neckline, strapless is good as long as it is a little high up.... I hate my armpit fat so a sleeves are also good. I think my shape gets lost in an A line, so prefer more of a trumpet. Now when I look at the pictures I feel like a A line is probably what I should wear...so you can be honest Now just to give you some idea of my body shape....here is the two dresses I tried on that I loved...but didnt love so much when I saw the pictures. Ive gained a lot of weight due to health issues so am having really bad body issues these days. Forgive me. So I love the lace. Now Ive narrowed it down to 6 dresses, although I think its a top 3 now. Would love to hear your thoughts! Ill post the dresses in the next post....

Im pretty sure Im ordering through wedding dress,prom gown and bridesmaid dress by landy bridal as well. She can get a custom dress to me, but its cutting it super close. Im afriad to close, and I havent tried this style on, the designer I have, but not the style. So that does worry me a bit. Ive been looking on her site, because she can really rush those but cant decide! I know I want lace....but so many choices!

So lunch and midafternoon snack..not so well today. This is hard for me! But I pulled out dinner and the shake tonight, so feeling good about that. Normally I would of just given up the day completely. I find that Im hungry....I think maybe Im not eating enough? I probably need to utilize the veggies more. Bring more and munch on those. I have really severe thyroid issues, so am a little anxious about trying this out. I know my body so Ill know if I can handle it or not. I did get to cycling class tonight to. WOOHOO! For my shakes I picked up some special K protein shake....its good...so its probably not the right kind. LOL It does say its whey protein though...

Hey what did you guys use for your protein shakes?

Well girls, Im officially on board. Today was day 2. I did grocery shopping yesterday to prepare myself. Ill see how I feel in a few days Wish I liked cottage cheese! I cant even stomach it.

Thanks for the input Erika. Its weird I loved the dress when I had it on...and now I look at it and think meh. And it was heavy. I hope I find something. *bites nails* Its going to be a busy 6 weeks. I cant believe we have so much planning left to do. Working under pressure seems to work well for me though. HA!
