Hey Jamie- is the tamiflu not covered by insurance ($122)? just wondering

We are moving forward with our departure on May 15th after we got the ok from FI's employer. But nobody else from his firm can go! How shitty is that? There go 8 of our guests right there. He has to see a doc when he gets back and work 1 week from their site in NJ were nobody works. Oy! This whole thing is so annoying. I am beginning to get anoyed by my guests and am wondering if anyone will actually show up. We are basically forcing our parents to go. (Just kidding- sort of) If I get another email I don't know how sensitive I can be. I mean people are being nice and all "we DON'T want to stress you out but..." Then stop emailing me! I am feeling agitated right now but I am happy that we are going because even though I am not feeling happy right now I cannot postpone this any longer. I can't focus and we have already been engaged 15 months. We are done. kwim? Plus I want to get all this wedding swag out of my too small apartment.

You are probably right Jessica cause these reality shows thrive on editing so that it looks worse than it is. On another note... the OC one- I just read that the one "golddigger" with the older guy who was sick- can't remember her name... he died. So sad. BUT the scandalous part is that she is now dating the ex boyfriend of jo from the first season- Slade.

Congrats Maria! I totally forgot to send mine in because I didn'tgo to the gym yesterday and I don't own a scale. Well hopefully my numbers will be big next week. That's a little bit of wishful thinking since i have been stress eating from the worry about my wedding in Mexico in a few weeks. Why can't I be one of those people that "forgets" to eat during times of stress.

yeah it's all over the swine flu thread. I feel so sad for the canada brides. Many companies just stopped travel to Mexico till June. I am keeping hope alive over here but we are losing steam. We are not worried about catching the flu- we are more worried that our guests wont be able to enjoy themselves out of paranoia- or just decide not to come. Hm only time will tell i guess.

what the hell is wrong with people? You have every right to be annoyed at her but I love your attitude. I am so feeling you on the calm in a scary sort of way vibe. I finally had a breakdown when I thought that after workignfinal edits on a paper it was "lost" on my computer. I had chest pain and then just started crying. crying like I have not cried in ages. economy, drug wars, swine drama, family drama and finishing my MA in the next week I'm on the edge.

ok. I am officially feeling SAD this morning. Not just a little sad----- big sad. We sent an email out to our guests last night and we both woke up this morning feeling blue. Usually FI is the one to make the jokes and see the silver lining and the poor thing was shaving when I woke up and as soon as I said good morning he dropped everything and hugged me and said "I'm depressed". It breaks my heart. I am just numb today actually. It's all so weird. I mean who the HELL would have thought this would be what we were worrying about 3 weeks out to our wedding day. I'm also pissed. I don't know if i'm pissed at media, gov't, pigs or what but I am. Thanks for listening. Thank God for this forum.

MarieSam go for it-copy away. You will be fine your wedding is at the end of June and I have faith that this will be cleared up in the next week or so. positive focus. I go back and forth between laughing and tearing up. One piece of advice... Do not watch FOX news. They sensationalize everything IMHO. check out the CDC website or Reuters or something less entertainment-y. It's hard I know but it has helped me keep my emotions in check.

I sent an email out that said this... Greetings Friends and Family, The countdown has begun and we are ecstatic! But we are also now anxious. As we witness the swine flu issue unfold we are keenly aware that it could have an impact on our plans. We are in close contact with (Our TA) and are sorting out what our options are should this issue not resolve itself fairly soon. We can move the celebration to another resort but at this point we are waiting to hear the official determination is from the CDC. We do have other options and will keep everyone informed. We will update you all in the next couple of days. We are channeling all the most positive energy and love in the world to our destination and we ask that you do the same!
