  1. Your e-pics look awesome! Your makeup looked great and you definitely have an amazing smile We're having our e-pics done this Saturday. I am going to use the pic of you guys on the busy street and the pic with the train in the background as inspiration shots.

I am so sorry to hear about Dreams Tulum. As a destination bride, I was horrified when I read about it yesterday. Hopefully it will get resolved soon. If not, Azul Sensatori sounds like it will be a beautiful resort and similar in amenities to Dreams. I know it's easier said than done, but don't stress out too much about it, one way or another you will end up having a beautiful wedding!
  3. All the places you have appointments at are great places to look. White Chicago is awesome - you can find a really good deal there. I would recommend against House of Brides because they will sell your info to every vendor in the city and you will be bombarded with telemarketing calls from them. My friends and I learned this the hard way
  4. Welcome to the forum! I am getting married there as well!

The TA review sounds like the hotel will be very nice...I also cannot wait until our site visit on November 24th!!
  6. Does anyone know if Azul Sensatori is still opening 10/1/08? I just read that it will now be opening November 1, 2008 and I am wondering if anyone else heard this? This web page doesn't say when it was last updated so I am hoping this is just an old entry Azul Sensatori Hotel Vacation Packages - Azul View
  7. I am also interested. I can't do Thursday at 7:00 pm EST since I will not be home from work yet. But Sunday would work perfectly!
  8. Yay! So glad Dan won! He was by far the best player in the house.
  9. Yari, They look awesome! I love them!
  10. I have extensions in now, and I LOVE them! I had them in for about a month already and really had no problems. They're supposed to last 4 to 6 months. So far, not a single strand fell out! :-) It's real hair from Great Lengths, and I got it professionally binded (not really glue, but binding that is applied with heat). I have thicker hair as well, and I find that I only need to shampoo every 3 to 4 days. I shampoo like normal, and have no problems styling afterward. You can flat iron/curl iron it like normal hair. I find that it's easier to style, since the extension hair is really nice in texture and masks my own (naturally frizzy) hair. Hope this helps!
  11. After reading this thread, I HAD to get one. I ordered it from Skincare : Strivectin, Skinceuticals, Philosophy, RevaleSkin, Kinerase, MD Forte and more Skincare Products at SkinStore.com. It's free shipping and if you use code ADD10 you get 10% off. My total came to $26.10
  12. I am in love with the Amsale. But I have to say, they both look great on you! One thing to consider is that you're going to travel with it, so make sure to pick one that doesn't wrinkle much. And to me that looks like the Amsale.

  14. Hehe...I did notice that. Thanks for emailing the 2 documents - they're so helpful! I live downtown (River North to be exact). How about you?
  15. Definitely CHI. I used to work at a hair salon, and tried every possible frat iron. CHI is by far the best!!! I can't go a day w/o it. Best $$ you'll ever spend! Btw...my CHI worked in Europe w/just a regular converter (didn't work with the proper kind). It got a little hotter than normal there though.

  17. We're also getting married on Nov 14, 2009. I am really anxious to start planning, but the hotel we've chosen isn't open yet.
  18. I gave up planning for now as well. When we go for our site visit in November, I am hoping to get some "power planning" done while there. And hopefully after that I can stop stressing.

  20. Maybe have your TA double check. Mine went to some TA convention at Iberostar last weekend, and they told them kids are not allowed to be at the hotel, but they make exceptions for weddings. Now I am condidering checking out Grand as well. I just realized, we're getting married on the same day!!!
  21. A family friend who is a TA just came back from a site visit at Iberostar Grand. She said the hotel will allow children to come in for the wedding. By the way, she was absolutely in love with the resort and said it was one of the best she's ever been to.
