  3. Thanks for posting these! The hotel looks great These pictures completely exceeded my expectations! Does anyone know if this is Zocalo?

Yes, I am going to work with a local flower designer to design centerpieces, and then I am planning on taking lots of detailed photos of the table set up to show Lomas. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed in hopes they can recreate it.

If the organza won't look good over white, then it will be on to plan B.

I am planning on having burnt orange calla lilies or roses as centerpieces. I was thinking of possibly doing a gold organza runner if we end up going with a solid dark brown tablecloth.

I agree, it will be difficult to choose a fabric over email w/o seeing what it looks like in person. What I am planning on doing to make the tablecloth situation a little easier, is going with Sensatori's plain white tablecloths and then renting colored sheer organza tablecloths at home and bringing them with me. The organza tablecloths will be light, so they wouldn't be hard to pack. And, since you need a liner under organza as it is, I think it will look nice with a white tablecloth under.
  8. I emailed Fabio asking if they could provide Chivary chairs, and that's how I found out. There was no info about them anywhere on Lomas's site. I was also told that any colored tablecloths are available, and will have to be quoted based on our color selection, availability and the table size. Amy, glad I was able to help. Ooooh, just had an idea - the Chivary chair w/a pink organza ribbon tied on the back would look great!

Everything is going to turn out fabulous!!!
  10. Thank you so much for the review. I am glad to hear the hotel is coming along! That makes me feel so much better. I will be there next month when it opens and hopefully I can take lots of pictures.

Word to the wise, I had never bought (or tried on) Louboutin's before and I ordered a size 38 (a US size eight) from Neiman Marcus and they are a tich too small. They were the last pair on the face of the earth so I am dealing with it but I recommend AT LEAST a half size if not a full size up from what you normally wear. I second that. I normally wear a size 37 but in Louboutin's I am a 38.
  12. Wow...I love the Louboutin's! They are so HOT in blue! Now you're making me want them too. I think FI will have a heart attack if I show up at home w/another pair of Louboutin's.
  13. OMG This is one of the craziest things I've ever heard!!!! Like others have mentioned, make sure the WC is aware and forget about this situation. WC and hotel security will take care of it if something goes wrong. You will have a gorgeous wedding! She is a miserable person and does not deserve you spending your time worrying about her whereabouts on your wedding day. Don't stess out about it, your wedding will turn out great!!!!!!
  14. From speaking to Fabio I know that Lomas can create arrangements that are not shown on their website. I am planning on having a florist in Chicago put together a bridal bouquet and centerpiece flowers for me. Then I will do a mock table set up at home and send detailed pictures to Lomas in hopes that they can replicate it for the wedding.

Don't know what to do I have to agree with Jenny on this. Here is a post from a girl that got married at Azul Beach and the DJ didn't speak English. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t23318 The DJ situation is so frustrating. But I guess with a DW we have to make some sacrifices.
  16. Thank you so much for the pics! The hotel looks great but far from being finished!!! I am supposed to be staying there for a sight visit in November and now I am doubting it will be ready by then. Did you get to see the beach ceremony location? Was there a similar wooden gazebo like the one Azul Beach has? Thanks again for writing this and posting pics.
  17. FI is thinking of wearing (1) a white button down shirt w/dark gray jeans and (2) a light gray t-shirt w/blue jeans. I was thinking of wearing the dress when he wears the button down shirt. Then when he wears a t-shirt I could be more casual as well.
  18. Thanks for advice girls! I was leaning a little more toward the green top just to add some color, but adding colored heals to the black top is a great idea! Btw, the soles of the shoes I have on in these photos are red, so I was thinking the photog could somehow utilize that to add color.
  19. Hi Girls, I need your help! We are doing e-pics tomorrow around the city, and I am not sure what to wear. So as you can see, I am doing some last minute panicking. I am thinking the dress first, and then one of the shirts with jeans. Which shirt do you think I should go with? Or should I just wear both shirts and skip the dress? We're taking photos at a train stop, on a busy city street, and by the lake.
