  1. oooh stacey i didn't know you were a true blood fan! how/where have you been, lurker?! no one important dying yet = good to know, thanks!
  2. oh i know *exactly* what you mean ... and you're still under 30 so it's even worse for you (i know bc i didn't want any back then either)! i don't know when people stopped abiding by "to each their own" and started thinking it was ok to impose their beliefs on others, but damn is it annoying!
  3. ugh, i hate when people do that, let alone your husband!!! i don't know if he's right about whatever he said, but honestly, i don't think knowing any single character was going to die would ruin the show for me. and how does he know anyway? from someone who read the books? bc they are not sticking to the books that closely, so i think it's possible that anything in the books could change in the show. also, TV tends to keep characters around as long as possible when they are fan faves, because it helps keep their ratings high. money is, of course, the bottom line. for instance, if you watched LOST, sawyer was initially meant to die off in the first season, but since fans loved him so much, he ended up with a series-long major role.
  4. yesssss kelly! SODA!! haha and YES again to rocking the maternity tops, lol! they are the only things that are shaped like my body, so they don't cling to the fat rolls. i own *several* pieces of maternity-wear, and i have never been preggers!

  6. honestly, i think the *only* things that could at all be complained about are: 1) the main pool is pretty small (this didn't affect us bc we went during the height of swine flu and the resort was empty) 2) the room furnishings are in serious need of updating (however, the rooms are large and spotlessly clean) 3) in the rooms that overlook the dolphin pool, you sometimes get the unpleasant *smell* of their pool and the fish they feed them (um, they are living creatures ... what did you expect? seeing the dolphins *right there* imo totally makes up for any smell) 4) some rooms were experiencing issues with the air conditioning (we just switched rooms, but i know that may not always be an option) overall, the location, the customer service, and the cleanliness of the resort were totally above and beyond. remember, there is just no pleasing some people. go and have the time of your lives ... i promise you and all your guests will want to return!

  8. i agree as far as boy shorts go about the cutting you off and making your legs look even more stumpy and lumpy. but the skirt is much more to hide lower belly/hips/ass. i need loose material there to skim over that stuff rather than cling to it, so skirt it is! as for the alcohol, why do you think i was sooooo wasted? LOL best bathing suit tip ever tho! i am a big fan of showing off the girls in order to divert attention from the lower-body jiggles. T, not so much. anyway i think that's the main reason i keep calling that bathing suit a "granny" suit ... it wasn't the skirt. it just covered way too much for my taste! i like halter tankinis in general, but haven't found one i like in awhile.
  9. ok clearly i need a merlotte's shirt. off to buy myself one! hehe
  10. haha awesome, come to the fatgirl thread and post pics of candy bars?! way to go! seriously heather, those are the bomb. you do NOT want to try one. as for swimsuits, i don't think i will ever have one without a skirt again, and even those don't cover my thigh mess. i need to find a few more suits (hopefully on sale, since summer is half over) bc i am going on vacay to a lake end of july, and then that beach thing with the girls in august. ugh, swimsuits are the devil. not even skinny b*tches like themselves in a swimsuit.
  11. haha cyn ... mmmm wunderbar ... FAIL. and for the record, A) i do NOT say "pop" ... it's soda!! and i meant alcoholic bevs!
  12. haha i love you cyn! how much did you DRINK that weekend?!?! all kidding aside, need motivation NOW. or yesterday.
  13. i haven't read the books yet (i should be receiving them any day now!), so i can't really comment on how true debbie is to the books yet ... though i did read an interview where brit said that for the show they made debbie even *more* crazy! like book-debbie x 10, haha! i don't care who has the dream, as long as they keep happening (or the stuff starts happening for REAL)! the fantasy and sexual tension are awesome!

T and i have pretty much decided we won't have kids, so we don't even have that extra incentive!
  15. where are my trubies? how did you all feel about debbie pelt's debut? haha my poor conservative boss (the actress's aunt) had to see her niece done up like trailer trash, dropping F-bombs, getting stripped almost naked by a bunch of bikers, branded, and licked by wolves. she was mortified. how about eric's dream scene? HOTTTTTT!!! shirtless alcide = RAWR! i am loving this season ... so much hotness!
  16. kelly that's amazing that you've gotten to such a positive place. gotta work on that myself! cindy, you're too sweet ... really TOO sweet, considering you've seen me in my fat granny swimdress lol!

LOL!
  18. everything looks great! can't wait to see pics when you return! have an amazing wedding!!!
  19. finally had a chance to look, cassie! ohh how i wish i were coming to see you get married! you are going to be SUCH a gorgeous bride! i am truly impressed at how much DIY you took on, and all that you got accomplished in such a short time ... and most of all, i'm so glad the groom has PANTS hahahaha! i almost teared up a little just seeing that you included a pic of all of us in chitown ... this forum truly is amazing for bringing us all together. i had forgotten you got engaged in chicago ... we should have all gone to the spot you were engaged and taken a pic! have an amazing, beautiful wedding, and a lifetime of love to follow.
  20. oooh yeah carly, that dude's creepy. i think he was on heroes for a bit. i heart jessica and lafayette. i still think the fact that jessica's hymen regenerates so she will *always* be a virgin is hilarious. like who comes up with that shit?
