  1. Ahhhh, doesn't it feel good to have the bridal party dressed?!? On another note, I've been inspired to head to Old Navy to pick up some flip flops for myself...
  2. I haven't heard of this site before, but it seems like it could be a great OOT bag resource!

  6. I'm loving the DIY cup idea! I wanted to get cups or mugs printed, but the cost was outrageous or I would have to get waaaaay too many. I just added something else to my list!
  7. Depending on where in NJ you are you can always do the legal thing in PA - no witnesses required, but there is a 3 day waiting period - includes weekends.

  9. I saw this Neutrogena line at Wal-Mart, and it seems perfect for protecting your skin, but in a non-greasy way: Walmart.com - Neutrogena Helioplex I think I'm going to pick myself up a bottle, especially for my face!
  10. Thanks for the update. I've heard some rumblings about airlines becoming more stringent about checked bags recently.
  11. I DIY'd Wedding Programs for our ceremony - nothing fancy, but I'm thrilled with the way they turned out and I just wanted to share with you girls! My inspiration came from BDW and I have the inspiration pic saved on my computer, but I don't know who to attribute it to - I apologize! I also apologize for the blurriness...
  12. I love the skirt of the dress - and you certainly look like a glowing bride! I definitely know the feeling of not wanting to take it off!
  13. My mom just told me that the airlines are really cracking down on the number of carry-ons and checked bags now. To check extra bags costs extra $$$ (about $25 per bag I think). Just something to keep in mind. I know that I'm concerned and I'm only packing wedding/honeymoon clothes!

I'm planning on giving out our OOT bags prior to everyone leaving. Because we have a small guest list (, our OOT bags are mostly a courtesy to our guests and include items they might "forget" or might want to put in their carry-ons (i.e. toothbrush, toothpaste, tylenol, hand sanitizer, gum, chapstick w/ SPF, tissues, etc). We got the small canvas totes from Promotional tote bags custom sizes and styles from cheap totes and filled them up! If the guests remember to pack them, great, if not my feelings won't be hurt unless they're complaining about how they forgot to pack toothpaste on their own AND forgot our bag of goodies! I would take the bags with me, but I'm not purely for selfish reasons: 1. We are staying at a resort separate from our families and won't see them until the day of the wedding. 2. We want to be soaking up every minute of our Weddingmoon without worrying about tracking down guests.
  15. I love the idea of baskets in the rooms! One question - how are you going to get the baskets to Cabo? Are you going to mail them ahead of time?

There's also a wedding show on the the Travel Channel about destination weddings. The last episode I saw was Bill Rancic (The Apprentice winner) and Guiliana DiPandi's wedding in Italy. Is A Wedding Story still on TLC Years ago I was addicted to that one! Oh, and who can forget Perfect Proposal (also on TLC)!
  17. We might actually need an entire category devoted entirely to finds at Target
  18. Just an FYI that FI and I were at Kohls shoe shopping for him yesterday, and noticed that not only does Kohls have a wonderful selection of suit separates for men, but they have a tan one where you get the pants and jacket for just $139.99!!!

    Hello!!!

Welcome - good luck with your planning!
  20. Ours is Far Away by Nickelback. I have a list of other songs that didn't make the cut - they will be playing while the guests are waiting for my grand entrance.
  21. I did also notice that they have white Adirondack Chair candle holders - nice for table settings.
  22. Try RedEnvelope - Unique Gifts, Personalized Gifts, Luxury Gifts Another thought - FI and I decided to have our wedding bands be our gifts to each other. We got them engraved - took about a week. They are engraved with our initials and wedding date.
  23. Tami - I like how you're having the Hand Ceremony before the vows and rings. We decided to have it between the vows and the rings, at least that's the order on our program! But no matter what the order, I love that reading! I figure that is probably the point in the ceremony that I will start to cry.
