We are thinking about ordering just the plain black and dark green totes. Groan. My fiance thinks that the guests may not have the same taste [as me] in the pokadots, so plainer the better. We are also thinking that these bags could double as shopping bags whenever they go into town too. ~~

Sorry guys, I have been really busy so I haven't had a chance to come online. The seller of the seagrass bags said it only comes in orange and rainbow, so I don't know about those ones anymore. Francis and I talked about the bags, and we are so lost in which ones. I think this is something that we will be dealing with in January. LoL. ~~

So, here is the story now. I went over to my Mom's house the next night, when it was just me and her, and told her exactly how I was feeling. She completely understood. We decided that we would go out the next day [on Friday] and look at new dresses. So, we went to the store where I had placed a dress on hold and my Mom and I grabbed 30 some odd dresses off the rack to try on. She phoned my Dad and he came too, which was a little odd, but she told me that he would be thrilled and honour to be part of the decision-making process. Well, one of the dresses that I tried on [she picked out] was amazing. It is fitted, so it shows off my hour-glass curves really well. Once again, it is a little bit too big, but nothing that my seamstress can fix. My Dad got all choked up and had to walk away because he thought it was beautiful and very much "me". So, we bought that one!!!! LoL. The best part? It was on sale so it cost a total of $330.00. LoL, so cheap!!!! I don't have a picture of it, I forgot my camera and it's at my parent's house now, so as soon as I go back over there I shall get my Mom to take some pictures of it. You all will love it. Thank you so much for letting me vent and being there for me!!!! ~~

I need to find a florist in Playa Del Carmen, or a flower shoppe. All that I wanted was taller vases, and mainly all leaves with the odd flower here and there. I told her the odd flower could be lilies and the normal Mexican flowers in bright colours. I explained the centerpeices to her in full detail and sent her some pictures to show her what I was thinking. My WC emailed me back and told me the price of the centerpeices we wanted [leaves with a few flowers in a tall vase] and she quoted me $350.00 each centerpeice. Haha, not happening. If worse comes to worse, I'll fly my own vases down there, but I really don't want to. I will need probably about 7-9. But, I won't be using the hotel for leaves flowers. Imagine if I requested all flowers, it would be like $1000.00 each. I'm attaching some pictures of my inspiration. I know I snagged them off of here, but I can't remember from who, so therefore, I suck because I can't give you the credit you deserve. If these are your centerpeices, I give you all the credit and you rock, plus you have expensive taste. I am bringing down my own led lights for inside the vase. We are also bringing ostrich feathers in turquoise, white, and lime green to go in them, as well as tall shinny sparkly thingys to go in the very middle. ~~

Oh Honey, I'm so sorry that this is going on right now for you. I agree that something fishy is going on. Why isn't Eric talking to you? You didn't do anything to him. Is he a professional photog- because he's definately not acting very professional. Do you happen to know someone who is coming to your wedding that is pretty good with a camera? Maybe a distant cousin or an aunt? There always seems to be someone who loved taking pictures. You could also ask around and see if someone else [or the same person] is bringing down a really good camera, and maybe that person who could take your photos could use the other person's camera? They could always take the pictures, then, when you get back, you can contact a photog at home and see if they will touch them up for you? ~~

Wow, obviously Mr. Asshole is being an asshole to her and she sought you out to see what happened between your relationship with him. I can't believe that she would do that, I find that so incredibly immature. Good on you for taking the higher road and blocking her. Question: do you think that maybe she was actually Mr. Asshole pretending to be his girlfriend? Maybe he caught wind of you remarrying and he wanted to stir the pot a little bit? ~~

Well it will. My first dress cost $69.00 and my second cost me $280.00, so it's not like I have spent a lot of money here or anything. The dress [that I should have bought originally] because it is so plain and there is a 25% off sale going on right now, is only $300.00. ~~

Thanks ladies, don't get my wrong- I'm not attempting to complain about my sisters and my Mom, I'm used to everyone being opinionated. I'm just stressed out because I am mad at myself for not listening to what I want, and not knowing what I want, and everything is just seemingly so difficult. Plus, I really did not want to be re-buying my third dress three months before the wedding. You know? ~~

After not being able to sleep for the past two nights, I have no idea what to do. After much thought, try-ons, pinning, etc., I have come to the realization that neither of my dresses are the one. The first dress, with the low front and back, is very pretty, but it's doesn't give me that "it's the one" feeling. The second one, is very pretty as well, but it just kind of hangs there and doesn't do anything for my figure. What sucks even more is that my sisters really like the first one and my Mom really likes the second one. So, when I was wearing them the other day in front of them all, all of them couldn't understand why I would want to get them altered and why I'm not feeling it. Then last night, I came to a realization that I am trying to please them and not me. Like, I'm not blaming them or anything, but I couldn't even bring up today to my sister that I'm having second thoughts because she would just attempt to convince me otherwise, rather than just accepting my feelings. I have always been drawn to really simple dresses, with pickups and strapless, but once again, I never bought that style or seriously considered it because my family would say negative things about it. I went yesterday to look at some dresses and found two that I really like. The first choice one is turquoise, and I know that I could dress it up with a white sash, but I know that I could never wear it because I'm not daring enough. The lady at the store said that she could rush order me in a white one, but it would take 8 weeks, leaving my seamstress 3 weeks to do alterations. Plus, I know that something would happen and the dress would take longer to get here. My Mom and I plan on going today to look at a few that I had picked out yesterday, one I am able to buy off the shelf, but, I have no idea. I hear you, that's all that I'm thinking about. However, my brain is going on overload because of all of the projects I have left to do. I don't want to leave them until last minute, so I'm trying to get them done now. ~~

Good idea. Where did you get the clear boxes from? Well, the ornaments got veto'd out. Instead, I'm going to use baby food containers that I'll dress up with ribbon, shells, and starfish. I guess they will travel a little bit better too, because I'm breaking out at the rafters will all the crap I'm hauling down. ~~

What do your bags look like, because I'm going crazy in my other post with possible bags that I'm considering. ~~

I found them on ebay. Seller setadirect. Do you think that this would be suitable for guys? The seagrass rainbow stripped for the girls, the camo print for the boys? Or, LoL, there is this for the girls: Crap, I'm getting out of control here. ~~

Yeah, I was thinking something like that, but I want things to be even. Initially, we were going to add parasols and towels to our bags, so that's why we bought the bigger ones. Then, we changed our mind, so now the plastic ones are too big. I definately don't want them to look empty. The ones that I like are made out of seagrass, the only problem is, is that they have orange strapping, which isn't one of our colours. I emailed the seller to see if they have them in a different colour, but I haven't heard from them yet. However, they do have a multicolour one, in our wedding colours, but I'm sitting on the fence about whether or not I think the "rainbow" looks tacky or not. ~~

Here are pictures of the bags that I already own. The cloth ones are nice, they are a regular tote size. They are 11x12x2.5, with a zipper and mesh liner. I think I have around 30 or so of them. The plastic ones are 12x18x3 and I have around 30 of them too. ~~

I think I have decided. I'm going to get them both altered, that way, by January, they will both fit properly and then I have like three weeks [and probably a lot more posts and pictures] to help make the decision. The best part? Number one cost me $69.00 dollars, never worn, still with the price tag attached of $750.00. The second one cost me $290.00, also never worn. So, really I have two beautiful dresses that cost less than $400.00 American. Woo hoo!!!! Got to love Ebay. Dumb question- the back on the second will fit better once it's altered right? Because it's really gappy. ~~
