  1. I really like this product Dove available at Shopper's Drug Mart! I think it's helping
  2. I still can't view it "Copyrights restrict us from playing this video outside the US" is the message I get. If anyone finds a way around this please let me know.
  3. I've looked on the web and I can't find it for sale in Toronto. I'm not sure that even if you can find it for sale that we can ship it to you. According to the Canada Post website you can only ship alcohol under specific circumstances Canada Post - Non-mailable Matter Wonder what the rules are regarding shipping alcohol into the US?
  4. If any of you are downtown Toronto, take a look at the Le Chateau windows at Yonge and Dundas. Katie used to work for Le Chateau in the display department (doing the windows). They used her ideas from before she changed jobs, and honoured her (& Chris) by using their names! "Katie came down with a case of tinselitis" "Chris felt Claus-tro-phobic during the holidays"
  5. Everything looked great! So co-ordinated! You even found blue shoes for the guys to wear! Loved your veil. Congratulations!
  6. The sale of alcohol is regulated in Ontario. So I checked Welcome to The Beer Store: The Ultimate Source for Beer in Ontario and here LCBO | Holiday 2008 and I don't see it. Is it possible it is relabeled and called something else?
  7. Celina, I'm so sorry that those people did that to you! How rude! I can't believe the number of people who just don't seem to understand what R.S.V.P. means! The waste of food would annoy me too.
  8. Congratulations on your wedding. The flower girls are extremely cute and I love their flower balls (don't know if they have another name). I'm so glad it all worked out ok for you.

Some of my kids friends call me Mama H. It is too bad about the photographer, but what I've seen so far don't look too bad and I'm sure with all of the ones taken by others attending you'll have enough.
  10. He looks so cute! Congratulations on the birth of Luke!
  11. Speaking of Beyonce, has anyone else seen this? YouTube - Shane Mercado Does Beyonce's "Single Ladies" - The Bonnie Hunt Show Wonder how long it took him to learn all those moves?!?
  12. Oh Celina! You looked beautiful! You are glowing! I'm so glad it all worked out for you after all the hard work you put into your wedding. I love your hair and the flower and your kids are so cute. Congratulations once again Mrs. E!

My toes used to do that too and I discovered that it was the shoes I was wearing. At the time I was wearing a brand name shoe but I switched to Ryka's. They only make shoes for women and I only buy that brand of running shoe now. I love them! I'm sorry to hear about your toes Jaime and hope the numbness goes away soon!
  14. I'm so sorry about the photographer Celina! But I'm glad things worked out with getting your hair done at the spa. It sounds like your room was similar to the one Katie & Chris had. I can't wait to see the pictures you do have! Congratulations!
  15. I love the one of them dancing in the sand! And the sunset one. Great job once again Jean-Marcus. Brooke you look so relaxed considering the stress you were under the few weeks leading up to your wedding! Congratulations.
  16. Great job Jean-Marcus, as usual. Trish you looked beautiful. Can't wait to see the rest
  17. Everything looks wonderful! Have fun on your wedding week. Good luck and Congratulations!
  18. Wow! Amazing details! Love the idea of the door hanger with the white board! Such a clever idea. Have a great trip!
  19. What a great detailed review! Congratulations! Can't wait to see the pictures.
  20. What a delightful story! Congratulations!

I have emailed Erika regarding this as it only says to do what i have done on the site but I want to ensure my bases are covered. any insight would be great Jamie I'm sorry, I have no idea about the documentation. My daughter did it all by herself. I have sent a PM to Celina as she just got married there, to see if she can help you out.

Thanks so much for all of your help! Hi there! My daughter got married at the Riu Vallarta May 7, 2008 and they rented the bar area by the pool which was arranged with Erika ahead of time. I can't remember how much it cost right now but I think I put it in my review thread which is here http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t21027 but unfortunately I can't get to it right now probably because of the forum maintenance going on. I know Celina (mrssoontobee) just got married at the Riu Vallarta this week and is due home tonight. I'm pretty sure they were renting out the bar area by the pool so she will know how much it cost for sure.

We flew Skyservice for my daughter's wedding in Mexico. We did not contact them in advance about the dress because we knew how we were going to transport it. I've written about this before but I'll say it again. I took my daughter's dress down for her. I turned it inside out, put tissue paper between the layers to prevent the beads from catching on anything, folded it up and put it in a small rolling carryon suitcase. It was so easy to transport, through the airport, through security, on the plane, no problem. There were other brides on our flight and no closet so everything was in the overhead bins. Once I got to our hotel I took the dress out and spread it out in my closet (we arrived Friday for a Wednesday wedding). It was fine, no steaming required. I know this probably won't work for all types of dresses but it honestly was the best way. I've seen brides struggling with dresses in the airport since then, carrying them around on a hanger in a big bag trying to keep them off the floor. The small carryon was so easy! No one even knew it was the dress! Also the groom did not want to see the dress or know anything about it so this was a good way to keep it completely hidden from him.
