I'd like to know about the sizing of wedding and bridesmaid dresses too! My daughter, who is normally a size 4 or 6, ended up with a size 12 wedding dress. My other daughter who is usually a 6 ended up with a size 10 bridesmaid dress. I hope this isn't a ploy to get me to pay a fortune in alterations. Anyone know why sizing on bridal attire is like this?

Could you try calling the store? Which store was it? I searched the Alfred Sung website and found many dresses like it, but not the exact one you posted a picture of.

Definately find it in a store and try it on. My daughter tried this on and it didn't suit her at all! Even though it was her first choice we sneaked taking a picture of her in it and sent it to her to show her how unflattering it was on her.

Currently we have about 30 people booked and coming from Toronto, Canada. We have 2 confirmed coming from AZ, USA, and a couple more possibles there. Then we have some unconfirmed guests from the UK. So I think there might be as many as 40 but probably around 30. I did see Raeka's pictures, very beautiful. I'd be very interested in any experiences anyone has with the resort salon for hair and makeup. If there is nothing else for me to fret over I guess I'll do it over my own hair

Thank you all for the kind welcome! Right now I am working on reading through some of the information that is already on this board. I might have some specific questions about the resort we are going to and if I don't find the answers I will post them and hopefully someone will have an answer. I emailed Katie this morning and let her know about this site, but as far as I know she isn't here yet. She's pretty busy as she just got back from Florida last weekend and started a new job this week, so maybe once she has some time she may visit this site. Right now it seems that her fiance is the one dealing with the travel arrangements and the resort stuff, and Katie is busy writing lists. I keep telling them to tell me what to do as I feel I should be doing something

Hello everyone, I feel like a bit of a fraud posting here as it is not me that is getting married but my daughter, Katie. There is not much for me to do in preparation for the wedding but I am interested in trying to arrange some kind of tour for the guests.
