Sounds like he will be okay. If they did a procedure, I'm guessing it was an ablation to zap the cells that were firing off the funny beats. If his heart rate got that low, he may need a pacer. Lots of people go through that and are fine afterwards. This is this stuff I see in my ICU a lot. If you have any questions, let me know and I'll try to help. Don't worry too much, sounds like he is in good hands!

Well, we are official! Our as we call it, we joyfully signed some paperwork with close family today. Even though, we didn't even have to sign anything. We had our ceremony with the JP today (Friday, I am typing late) and then came back to our place for drinks before going to dinner. Of course, me being me, I celebrated too enthusiastically and fell asleep (passed out?) at 7pm for who knows how long. Anyhoo, our ceremony was short and sweet, even with small talk it only took 10 min, during which, my nephew managed to turn my sister's phone back on halfway through the vows. Dave said his perfectly and I knew at that point I was due to flub....which I did during the "forsake all others" part. He said he was sure I would flub during the "in sickness and in health". I told him I wanted to amend that to ...in mild sickness, preferably in health. Don't worry, I told him I was kidding and would give him bed baths and clean up his poop if he were really sick. Poor guy, he's stuck with me now! I will post pictures once I get some back. Apparently my camera battery died halfway through the ceremony. It couldn't even last the 10 min. Oh, well. I am glad to be legally wed and looking forward to our Mexican ceremony in 2 weeks. Time to go to sleep...with my husband! And it is strange to see a wedding band on his finger. I guess we will have to get used to that in a few weeks.

I'm sorry, but those chicken ones were just odd. I liked the middle ones. Naked with a cowboy hat and red heels outside with a guy in a chicken suit? Just odd.

My sister is an optometrist. So at work, she uses Dr. (Maiden name) and other wise she uses her married last name. Which is an unusual greek name that no one can spell, pronounce or remember. She says if she wants them to forget her name, she goes with married and when she wants to be remembered....maiden name.

I am so sorry to hear about your baby kitty. That is so sad. But your kitty had a good life and lots of love from you while he was here. I had a kitten that had to be put to sleep because of FIP. We had 2 unrelated kittens at that time and it is infectious. They told us to wait 6 months to see if the other one started showing any symptoms before we considered getting another kitten. She never got sick and the other kitty we got later is still here and healthy. They can do an FIP titer but that just shows whether the cat was exposed to FIP. Could have a false positive. I hope things start getting better for you soon. You did all you could.

I had the Lasik in 2000 and still have 20/15 vision. It was the best money I ever spent. I had more problems with dry eyes prior to the eye surgery. I had trouble wearing my contacts when I was flying (used to be a flight attendant) and could only wear my glasses. No problems at all after the Lasik.

We ordered regular invitations for our AHR. It is Dec 6th, so my invites are white trifold with embossed snowflakes. We just got them all assembled and addressed today to send out on Monday.

I'm a little late to this thread, but I love the whole series. I read The Host as well and really liked it. My FSIL is reading them too. I am surprised that she likes them since she reads less fluffy books. But she enjoyed them as a nice escape.

Your new babies are so cute. They are so much fun as kittens...but so much work too. Kittens are crazy!
