Hi ladies (and guys), We are leaving early in the morning for Mexico, but before we go, I just wanted to thank everyone for their support, opinions, ideas and help. I got so many good ideas on here. I couldn't have made it through all this wedding planning without this forum. Who else would be interested in all the minute details of my wedding planning? And my FI is glad that I have somewhere to direct all of this detail. I will post a review and don't worry, tons of pics when we return. See you again as a Mrs. Carrie

What is the internet access like at the GBP? We are at the Coba. I think we are going to bring our laptop so we can back up our photos daily. We also bought a little memory card camcorder that we can back up to the computer daily.

I voted. We have touch screen and there was no wait at all. I think it took me less than 5 minutes. I must say, I was very disappointed because they didn't have "I Voted" stickers and I really wanted to have a sticker. Just like an 8 yr old...but one who just voted!

Hair Inspirations: I couldn't get the pics to show up. So, I put them in a word doc and attached the link here. Flower inspiration: Pink callas or pink callas and pink roses. The OOT bags: Totes from cheaptotes.com, my stepbrother screenprinted them for me. Contents of OOT bag are one bag and one travel mug per person, a CD, the photo scavenger hunt list, 2 maraca pens and a deck of cards (not pictured…need to buy more of those.) Close up of the travel mugs with our logo. Ordered by my stepsister for discount when she was working at Leed’s. Ended up costing $2.10 per mug including my (our) logo.

Dave’s outfit: Shirt custom ordered from weddingtropics.com and pants from Kohl’s. We got a similar shirt and same pants for his twin brother/BM. Dave does have a matching jacket as well. My MOH/twin sister’s dress: Her jewelry: (she was in charger of her own accessories) Her shoes: (We figure if our feet hurt, we can just trade shoes since they are the same color.)

Okay, well it is almost time for my wedding! I can’t believe it is almost here and it is my turn to do a planning thread. We have 44 people joining us down in Mexico for a variety of trip lengths. I am starting to get very excited! So, here it is! (I’ll have to do another one later for my AHR.) The rings: We found Dave’s rings on amazon.com just by searching for tungsten rings. They were $30/each which is why we got two.

Well, I wish I had known about this dermadoctor earlier. I get KP bad on the back of my arms. I am not allowing myself to pick from now until the wedding. I don't even mind that they are pinker than rest of arms, just hate the bumpiness. I will have to investigate this dermadoctor stuff.

I think you got the dog just so you could post the ferret picture!! Sadie is super cute! Congrats on your new baby!

Well, I think it has been about 2 months since I posted updates of Philip. Not counting my siggy that is. I have been too busy with wedding stuff and so self-obsessed, apparently! However, I still have Philip one day a week. He turned 1 on Oct 6th and is now walking, albeit, quite ungracefully. He is starting to say more words and one of his first was kitty cat, which sounds more like, "kiii kaa"! I am trying to teach him Auntie Carrie with no success so far. Who knows what he'll call me. Here are pics of Philip helping with our OOT bags. I will try to take some pics of those and post them this week. He is much cuter!
