I have tomorrow (Thursday) off work, and am going to go to SS office and DMV, etc, but am going to work on Friday and will post my review on Friday I did post some of our "wedding week" pictures on Snapfish- if you want to check them out- just PM me. There aren't any of the actual wedding day- we didn't take any with our camera since we had Cancun Studios there, but if you want to kinda see pix of resort, room, beaches, pools, etc-- just PM me with your email address and I'll "share" the albums with you! Hopefully, I'll get some pix from Cancun Studios from the actual wedding, soon- we were super super happy with our photographer and how smoothly everything went with them-- made me even more excited about the pix!

We had a big duffel bag (slightly bigger than a small rolling suitcase), my wedidng dress, and a purse-- and no one said anything to us. We were prepared to pay $25 for our 2nd checked bag when we arrived at the Raleigh/Durham airport (me and DH had 2 checked bags each- so we were prepared for a $50 charge). We didn't get charged for the 2nd checked bag leaving Raleigh for Cancun, or leaving Cancun to get back to Raleigh, NC. We were told by some of our guests that you are allowed 2 checked bags on US Air if flying internationally--we thought they were giving us a break bc we told the ladies we were getting married-hehe. All four of our checked bags weighed between 47-49 lbs (thank goodness-we were nervous about that!) and we carried 72 votive candle holders as well as our sand unity set--- only one votive candle broke- everything else got there safely and with zero problems! I stressed alot about getting everything down there, and we had no problems....

We are back!!! I swear I thought maybe I saw Anna and Mandy around -but I didn't want to sound creepy going around asking people if they were on a forum- hehe.... I am working on some non-pro pictures- and my review- we just got back late last night. All in all, it was amazing. I loved the resort, the people at the resort, the on site WC's were incredible-- it was just fabulous!! I have zero regrets about our DW- and about having it at EDR.. - more to come later......

It also included my hair and makeup, my sister's hair and a $200 spa treatment for myself. I also bought all the girls coming (10) $40 gift certificates to the spa. (that is included in the $6300). Also our fee of $500 for an outside photographer is included in that number, also. Our flights and room (staying in a Casita for 7 nights) was around $5,000? (We pd in back in Nov-but I think that is close). I splurged on the invitations and the dresses (have one for wedding and one for the dinner the next evening). I think the total for both dresses, alterations and invitations were around $4,600. I spent around $1000 on OOT bags. We are around $17K. (FI's parents bought his suit) But we could have (and probably should have!) done it cheaper-- if I didn't spend so much on the dresses, invitations and OOT bags--- also we could have spent less than the $6300 at EDR-- I just kept adding stuff. Hmm- I forgot what we are paying for photographer, too- yea, I have tried not to look at what we've paid and what we've spent-- it's been pretty well spaced out over the past 15 months- so I've tried not to pay attention! Hopefully, this helps some (and hopefully the FI won't read this post! ))-- I'm not sure what the going rate is for other resorts....
