Just wondering what you girls ended up doing and what you would suggest for future brides with the same issue... I'm going for my first alterations next month, and they told me I needed to have shoes. I plan on getting married barefoot in the sand, and really don't want it to be too long for that. If any of you had it altered to barefoot and then wore a 1-2" heel, I'd love to hear what your experience was!

No exercise for me today, though I really did plan on doing some. I will do good in the gym tomorrow. New veggie, huh? I'm a pretty broad eater, so that will be tough. This has been a long work weekend, and its only half over! I have 2 overnights in my future after tonight. Argh... Bringing food to work though, and resisting the urge to order out.

Looks great Shelley! What width did you order? I have no idea what width my cake will be... Did you get 1/8" or 1/4"?

Ok... work is really cutting into my BDW time! I will take pics tomorrow and post. Thanks for all the encouragement ladies! I'm still undecided about the dress change, because I feel like you only really get to wear your dress once, but I think I'll play it by ear. If its super hot and I'm not comfortable, I will definitely have the other dress to change into.

As much as I hate being sore, its definitely a good thing Jen! I tried a new exercise at the gym today - Tea Kettles - and my obliques and lats are killing me! Its good though... hopefully I will soon have a waist again!

I'm not 100%, but I'm probably wearing a wedged flip flop like Havaianas and putting rhinestones all over them. You can use any color flip flop and rhinestones you want...

I bought the same ones (though I ordered the large size)! I plan on using an iron-on transfer of our logo, but haven't started that yet. They're really a great quality though, and I think our guests will use them.

Go take a nap and please wake up in a better mood. Dear stupid Ebay lady, I'm sorry I left you neutral feedback, but you didn't respond to 5 days of emails when I hadn't heard from you 2 weeks after the auction ended and hadn't received my package! I'm glad you paid for a delivery confirmation, but would it have killed you to email me the number and tell me you mailed my package? My postman delivered it down the block to another apt building! I had no idea it was shipped! You didn't respond to emails! I didn't leave you bad feedback because my postman screwed up, I left it because you had HORRIBLE communication! Its not my fault this seems to be an ongoing problem for you... at least I left neutral, not negative!

So I bought my dress 2 months ago and haven't seen it since... I loved it when I found it (and I'm sure I will again). That being said, I bought a dress for TTD on Ebay that came in the mail, and I honestly think if I had found it first, I would have worn it as my wedding dress. I won't - because I already spent a fortune on my wedding dress AND I showed Sam the TTD dress, but I hate that I spent almost $2000 on my dress, and bought an $80 dress on Ebay that I could've been really happy with. The TTD is a simple, flowy BCBG dress, and my gown is much more traditional. I know... I am committing a BDW felony... no pics. I will take some tomorrow for you all of the TTD dress. Its in serious need of dry cleaning to get the wrinkles out, but I LOVE it!

Love it! Definitely no bows though! I'm shocked they wouldn't let you take a pic after deciding to buy the dress. My store was a "no pics" place, but once I was buying it they said have a field day with the camera.
