We are also honeymooning at CSA, so you'll get to see the pictures of the beautiful ground. If there are any specific locations you want me to take pix of, I will surely do that..
  2. Sorry to hear that, especially since he didn't even talk to you first! I hope that other than the commute part, everything else will be for the better.. Let us know how the new job is working out for you when you get situated.

  5. Ladies, I am leaving for Jamaica tomorrow! Thanks to BDW and all the helpful brides, even this lazy and always-do-everything-last-minute bride was able to pull some projects together. I took the pics when I was packing last couple days so a few things slipped by but you get the ideas... Our rings: My dress: My wedding shoes: My bouquet: My reception dress: Possible reception shoes:
  6. It is very beautiful and fits you really well. Congratulations!!
  7. Oh no, you must be feeling horrible!! I hope you find it in the office tomorrow. I agree with the other girls, just sit down and think back where you've been, what you've done and see if you can trace down any places you haven't thought about. I lost my watch one time at work(it was very loose and kept slipping off). When I noticed it was gone I just thought of when was the last time I saw it then what I was doing in between and then I remembered when I was reaching in between boxes for something I felt funny but didn't bother to check it out. I went back to those boxes and sure enough it was in between them. Good luck, I really pray that you'll find your ring!
  8. Congrats Christa on being a home owner again! Now you can just move in and enjoy the fruit of the hard work you put in that past few months..
  9. What a beautiful and happy couple you were! Congratulations, that was a gorgerous wedding you had!!!
  10. Maura, your dress looks beautiful and you look great in it!!
  11. Tami, everything looks so great! I haven't started packing yet... lol
  12. Trish, I hope your wedding day is fabulous. Can't wait to hear the details and see the pics!!
  13. I bought a few cashmere pashminas on Amazon.com around xmas time at a very reasonable price and they were beautiful.
  14. Congratulations on getting the hardest part done, now you can focus on other little details! We're getting married at Couples Sans Souci (actually originally Couples Ocho Rios) and will be HMing at Couples Swept Away. I will post a review when I return.
  15. I posted information regarding daypass on our wedding website as well and ask guests to put into great consideration to book in the same resort so it will be easier to coordinate everything. Honestly if a few chose to stay elsewhere I'd have picked up the cost. Luckily everyone booked at our resort so I don't have to worry about it..
  16. It really all depends on what you're looking for in your DW. I know a lot of brides on this board have done different extent of details for their weddings, but you don't have to do the same. I am very laid back and chose to have a DW so I don't have to worry about those details. Although I have enjoyed reading and looking at other brides' planning, I haven't really done much for my own and is keeping the budget very low.
  17. Great review Heidi, especially having pics with every point you noted! I am glad that you had a wonderful wedding but surprised they don't have much varieties for vegetarians!!
  18. That dress looks gorgerous on you! What a b-day present, have a great one!
  19. I am hoping this will be over soon, several of our guests are flying via AA next week too. One of my colleague has been trying to get down here for business since yesterday morning, he finally got on a United flight and will make it in this afternoon.
  20. Maura, I am really sorry you have to deal with this, especially since she is your sister. But it really seems like she does not care about your happiness and your wedding, so why should you care about how she feels. I would just replace her with you best friend who you know will be there for you. Your MOH should be helping to make your planning easier not to make it harder. I hope everything will turn out okay for you.
  21. I didn't go out to look, but it surely was windy out there. No damage close to what you described though thanks goodness.
  22. That's soothing to know, I am hoping it will continue having short period of rain only next week. I am just looking at the 10 day forecast and the hour by hour forecast on weather.com and it shows raining every hour, that made me very nervous.
  23. Brides going to be in Ocho Rios Jamaica in the next couple weeks - are you concerned? Weather.com forecast rain every day in Ocho Rios. April is not suppose to be a rainy month, I am really bummed if it really is going to rain every day What are your back up plans going to be? I really wanted everyone to have a good time!
  24. Very interesting, I hope she will grow up healthy w/o any medical complications.
  25. Heidi, welcome back!!! I am so happy for you and Reggie, CONGRATULATIONS! Your pics look great, I can't wait to read about your perfect day and the rest of the pics..
