Hey ladies! How's the planning coming along? I emailed Grisele a few more questions, so I thought I'd share some of her responses with everyone. Let me 1st start off by saying the 1st ? I asked her was about the price per chair. You can breathe a sigh of relief. It is NOT $25 per chair. The set up includes the white covers (included in the packages). The extra decoration refers to floral applications or additional decoration for each chair. So thats great news! The wedding gazebo has been pushed to a 2009 project, boo I asked about hosting a cocktail hour in the Tanthra Bar, her response : The Tanhtra bar is only available before 6:00 PM for private events and yes, it does has an additional cost. Note that the 30 minute Video for $350 is just for the ceremony. The reception price is quoted separately As far as wedding cakes, the traditional package and lower (if applicable) includes a 1 layer cake, anything above that, the cake will have 2 layers. If you want a larger cake, it is an additional $5 per person. And I confirmed that there will be some type of certificate signed during the symbolic ceremony Ok, thats all for now. Oh my, only 119 days left for me! So, I'll go ahead and list a couple of things Ive done and have left to do: Whats Done?: Got the ring and my band Wedding website Resort picked Vacation booked and 1/2 paid for Airfare paid for STD's sent out Bought bridesmaids gifts FI's attire is bought OOT bags bought and stuff for them (thanks to Shelley!) Summer clothes for FI and I have been purchased Reserved boarding for the boys (my doggies) What do I have in progress?: Still trying to decide on a photography package Still waiting on resort to finalize menu options Still looking for FI's wedding band Invites are in the making Welcome letter/booklet in the making FI working on music selections Still deciding on wedding setup (Its kind of hard planning at a brand spankin new resort and not being able to see pics of anything!) What do I still need to start/do?: Still deciding if I want to do menus Attempt to make barefoot sandals Find shoes for the reception Find or create a guest book Get sand ceremony kit Register! Find a reliable fish babysitter Decide on ceremony programs Find me some jewlery Find cute thank you cards Find a cake topper Get enough guts and do a million situps to do a BD shoot before June! and last but not least .... I havent bought a dress yet!!! I know, what in the world am I thinking. That is on my to-do list by the end of this month! I am not too big on dresses (thats the tomboy in me) Is this stressing me out ... actually its not, surprisingly. I am actually going to try on a few more on Saturday. I found one I like at Davids Bridal, lol, but dont ask me why I didnt buy it! If tomorrow's search doesnt go too good, I will defitenly be getting the one at DB. Damn, looking at this list, I realize how much I still need to get done! Now only if I can just get off this freakin forum (too many great ideas!) Like I said earlier, I am using you August ladies as my motivation!

We are still trying to decide what to do. Stay at the resort? Move to a new resort? Go to another part of the DR? But then my resort offers a free 4 day stay on our 1yr anniversary. I dont think its in our budget to go to another country, so thats out. What to do, what to do? Maybe I'll just let my FI decide. Too many choices!
