gained 1.2...i am going to bust my butt this week. i've been paying for ww for 9 weeks now and have lost a total of 1.6 lbs. NOT acceptable.

ok, i have plenty, but the most embarrassing one in front of family was about 4 years ago. i was at my cousin's bat mitzvah and had at least 2 bottles of wine. the cotton eye joe comes on and i try SO hard to do it but i can't keep up. i burst into tears, screaming "i'm ooooooooooolllllllllllllllllllldddddddddd, i can't even do the cotton eye joe!" and proceeded to carry on for about 30 minutes, screaming 'i'm so ooooolllddddd', which has now become a running joke in my family, and keith uses it every time the words 'old' or 'birthday' come up. i'm still upset that i can't do the cotton eye joe.

our room is brown and blue too! we have 2 chocolate colored cubes above our beds. mine is about 6 inches lower than dh's, and each has a white candle and a blue candle. my white one is taller than my blue, and his blue is taller than his white. you can't see the blue candle in the pic, but here it is:

i think it depends on how many people too. my original thoughts were that up to 20, i'd do a mug, and after that, a stadium cup. i'm glad i didn't do either, bc our ai served drinks in bigger glasses, and it would have been a waste.

maybe as a compromise, he can take some pics with you beforehand in a tux, and then change into a tan suit for the actual wedding. it takes men like 39 seconds to change outfits, so it wouldn't hurt your timeline. i'd tell him straight out. my dad wouldn't be offended, but that's my dad!

i vote blue or keep shopping. i LOVE the blue ones but don't like the white at all (no offense!) who are the blue ones by?

i haven't stopped eating since last wednesday. i had my first real period for the first time in like 10 years (off bc now) and craved EVERYTHING from 3 musketeers to fries. i was SO bad all week. i was better today, went to the gym, and then after dinner, dh makes an angel food cake that's supposed to feed 12 and the two of us ate the whole thing. my ww scale is going to be REALLY mad at me tomorrow at weigh in!

most schools up here closed early today ...mine has a/c so we were open all day, but i just got a recorded call from the superintendent that both schools in the district (i know, tiny district) will close at 1:30 tomorrow...which would normally be great but tomorrow is the 4th grade pool party, and we (the 4th grade teachers) need to make an appearance at 4.

i had shin splints in college. i was told that it was from running on the hard blacktop outside rather than a track or a treadmill. i don't know if it's true, but maybe try jumping on a floor that's not totally solid (gym mat, track at a local field, grass)? i only run on a treadmill now and don't have any problems.

lol yari, you should be a leader! i'm down .8 (note to self - send ann email after nap). i have been SO good about the gym but today i have the worst cramps ever (i haven't had cramps in 10 years b/c of bc), and all i want is chocolate. i had a small cupcake before, which was the only junk i've eaten in weeks. after i finish my popsicle, i'm taking aleve and a nap.

i think i did mr. and mrs. john smith and family or mr. and mrs. john smith, and on the next line wrote child and child smith. i didn't really care if they were proper tho....i don't think there are any usps regulations for #10 envelopes.

You could hear their heels clacking when they got up to use the washroom, too much. i am 100% with you. overall, i wasn't happy with the ending, and i wish the women had spent more time together. there were tons of women dressed up, which was a little ridiculous. i wore what i wore to school that day - a dress and leggings - yes, purposely cute, but nothing like the women that were on line to get in.

i like sage and basil ours are bred from asian leopard cats, so we wanted asian names. we settled on sake for our first (said socky, like the rice wine, not s-ache) and when it was time for the 2nd, he just looked like an ed, so we went w/ edamame.
