  1. How private is the Cascade terrace and how private is the oceana terrace?? I see the pool in the background of the oceana but can't see the opposite side of the cascade terrace. Were people swimming in the pool?
  2. Welcome Nicole..I have been to scottsdale once to visit my friend who now lives in Chandler. i am actually in her wedding this labor day weekend and she is having hers in Mesa (which I believe isn't too far from Scottsdale) at the Val Vista Lakes Country Club. It looks very nice!! I have already actually seen it in person... I'm sure it's not the best place but the only one I know of! Are you set on Scottsdale? All I do know is that there is a ton of golf courses in AZ so I'm sure one of the country clubs attached would be really nice!
  3. Jill~ Here was my friend Melanie's reply.. (You should come on Friday and find out... They are a blast! They keep you dancing all night to every song. They are not inappropriate at all! They are a lot like Tainted Love, but they play more 90's and now music. They dress up in funny costumes and laugh and joke...it is a real treat) So maybe (I have to check my schedule) I will go with her this friday and check it out.... I will pm you her email if you want to email her and ask anything else...
  4. I figured it wasn't cheap...i shouldn't even consider that... I emailed her so I will let you know...probably won't here back until tonight or tomorrow....
  5. I don't blame you...it's always hard to want to commit to something you haven't seen or experienced yourself.... So on a side note...does it cost alot to get them out there and play Let me email her and ask her your questions and see what she says...
  6. I just read all those questions...I can email my friend and see if she will shoot you an email??
  7. Jill...I have not seen them personally because I am a homebody! BUT...they have a wonderful reputation and one of my really good friends just LOVES them!!!! She trys to go to all of their shows and they play often in Sacramento (we live here). Are you thinking of bringing them to mexico
  8. Welcome..you will find alot help on here!

  10. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR ANDRESLOVES, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
  11. Thanks Natasha...that is a good way to look at it...I will have to highly consider that...
  12. Ah...Vegas!! I love Vegas! Usually go at least once a year... Venetian: Loved it! It's all suites and I just love the atmosphere! Plus I really want to go to Italy so I am bias. Friends aunt paid so I haven't stayed there again because I can't afford it. Bellagio: Absolutely my favorite of the upper class hotels! I have stayed here twice. Once work paid for it for a conference and we just stayed there this april for my sister's 30th B-day! MGM: It's okay...nothing great! The pool is awesome though! It's in a good location on the strip. I want to stay at their new towers... New York: This is another favorite!!! It's reasonably priced and the rooms are nice. Central location. Fun environment. OMG...the Americana Cafe has the best Macaroni and Cheese!!! Add some Jalepenos too it and it's YUMMY!! Especially at 2 or 3 in the morning! Imperial Palace: DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Although it was dirt cheap...it's not worth it. It's definately an older hotel! The smoke is really bad. The elevators are so slow we had to take the stairs and the water backed up in the bathtub...GROSS!! However...the dealertainers are pretty cool!!! So don't stay here...but stop by and gamble a little!!! Stardust: Not the best place. It's on the old strip which is a LONG walk to the new strip and it's also older and smokey...The rooms weren't bad...but again, it's worth spending a little more to stay at a nicer place and closer to the new strip.... Ceasers: I loved Ceasers too!! The rooms were great and the hotel is like a maze...you can get lost...but same with any of them really! I try to stay at a new hotel each time I go. My goal is to eventually stay at them all! They are so fun! I have to say too...in all of my travels there, I have found that southwest vacations has by far the best deals!!! You pretty much pay for the hotel and get your airfare for like $40 a person!!! I wouldn't go any other way. Only bad thing is you can't to the 24 hr online boarding because it's not ticketless... Sorry so long!!! LOVE VEGAS!!!!
  13. Wow....I'm sure your invites will look great! I am not sure if I will get too crazy w/ that...but who knows...I didn't think I would do this either... It only starts to really intrique me when I can't figure something out...then that makes me into it more and I get determined to figure it out!!! After a really good freak out first!

Honestly, I haven't decided that yet. I did think about that though...send the boarding pass printed on the cardstock (sice I have to send it in a regular envelope anyway) and just put the magnet in there too! That way the really get the effect. I mean...I know the magnet is a boarding pass because I made it and you girls know it is because we have seen so many but I don't know if the guests will get it right away. Having the real thing might help and that is why on the side I put your "boarding pass" to paradise!
  16. Hey girls...I decided to take the Boarding Pass save the dates to a new level and made them into magnets, except small magnets...not the size of the boarding pass...I didn't think people would want something that big on their fridge! Let me know what you think! I bought the magnet paper at staples today!
  17. I like the second pair..but I agree, it would be easier to chose which looks better with your dress if we could see a pic!

You could also get one of those block wooden swivel picture frames that has pictures on each side they could put it on a desk. The other option is buy them something else that you want to get, and just act like you thought you had another room, do a oops so sorry for the confusion! I never heard of someone being kicked out of a shower for not following directions...LOL That's funny!!! I like that idea to just say you thought you had another room! I also like the idea of the digital frame...those are awesome (even though I don't have one yet!). They are a little pricey though..but it depends on how much you want to spend!
  19. Oh no!! I'm so sorry to hear that!! Well i will be thinking of Jack and keep us updated!
  20. Apparently I don't know what I am doing!!
