  3. Those are super cute!!! I think I saw them there...I just can't make up my mind on what I want to use for the oot bags...so I didn't buy them...

Morgan, I totally lost this thread...we finally went and applied about 3 weeks ago and last week I checked the system and we were in it so I printed off the status sheet that said processing. The guy at the post office said he didn't know for sure because nobody who was trying it called him back to let him know how it went...but he said the form says we would need to show the proof of application processing and should also bring the copy of the passport application (we made a copy after the guy stamped it all). I don't know now if we will end up going down there...but if we do, that is what we are bringing....

If you use that form that says you applied, DO NOT FORGET YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE!!! My brother's girlfriend and 2-month old had to go home from the airport and fly the next day, because they didn't bring the baby's birth certificate!!! Good thing my aunt and uncle were flying out the next day, so Katie and the baby went with them. Okay this isn't good about the birth certificate because they physically took our birth certificates when we applied for our passports so we won't be able to bring them with us if we chose to travel soon....
  7. Karen thanks for posting that info....I am getting legally married in Cabo and I am doing it that way no matter what...but I still do feel apprehensive about the hassle when I come back and making sure they do it right in Mexico etc... I'm sure I will fee that way until it's all over with...but it's nice to hear about a good experience... Thanks!!!
  8. Wow!!! Congratulations!!!!! That is so exciting...see we all knew it was coming!! I'm so happy for you guys!!! Enjoy yourself tonight!

  10. Oh heidi...that's cute...so it prints on the back flap?? so that doesn't jam your printer or anything? Did you print anything on the front or did you use colored envelopes?
  11. I played around last night and I didn't like anything...I don't want too muchpicture because I don't know if the post office would like that?? does anyone have any pictures of theirs??
  12. Okay good!!! I just don't want my guests to be miserable and honestly I don't want to be either.... But you are right I think it will be fine since it starts at 6:00 and if there is a breeze....

We have lots of reception venues that over look the beach and the water, we do not have anywhere that allows you to have dinner and dancing on the beach. So, even if its a little hot, this is how we are doing it. I notice though when you are by the water at night, you usually get quite the breeze. That is a great point about being by the water and getting a breeze!!! Whereas my friends wedding was right in the valley...no breeze!!!!! So, I think you will be fine outdoors...worse case they get a little hot and then they cool down and if you go with the light attire...you are set!
  14. I am worried about the same thing in May in Cabo...but I know it's not as humid there. However, not to shoot down your plan and ambiance...but a couple years ago my friend was married outside here outside of Sacramento though. It was about 105 that day but it doesn't get humid here. I was a brides maid and it was at this cute bed and breakfast. the place was so old there wasn't air conditioning!!! So getting ready was a nightmare!!! I know you won't have that problem...but my point is it didn't get any better when we got outside, went through the ceremony, and began dinner. I honestly couldn't even start drinking until I guzzled about 5 bottles of water!!! (Of course I made up for it later on). I didn't hear the guests complain too much and I may have been an exception because I was dying of heat ALL DAY LONG!!! But you do want your guests to be comfortable... I think the way people dress matters too...if you do choose to have it outside still...maybe you could make it less formal (you may have already thought of this) and have guests wear "beach attire" so that they aren't wearing suits and heavy material dresses and sweating even more

  18. I would have never thought of it if i didn't work in the insurance industry...you really don't know because it's not common knowledge unless a friend tells you or sometimes jewelry stores recommend or your insurance agent.
  19. Sounds a little like vegas...but SF is the worst! Of course i haven't been to NY....
