When I first saw the pictures of the Plantation I thought it was a little cafeteria looking, but after looking at the wedding setup its not that bad after all.

I agree, I picked my back up WC today after reading that review. You just have to be prepared for things like this. I'm glad she did such an extensive review it kinda gives you idea of what to look out for. I saw her pictures and they were really nice. I am so glad to hear that everything worked out after this.

You can try Englewood, NJ on Palisade Ave. They have a lot of bridal stores and formal gown stores there. Or you can try bijoubridal.com. This is in Paramus 358 Route 17 North. You have to make an appointment first. They have very pretty gowns. Or you can just try wedalert.com and get a listing of bridal stores in bergen county.

I believe when you have your reception at the Mamme Bay restaurant it is one long table. If you have it at the Plantation it is square tables which seats about 8 people to a table. I think that is it, but don't quote me!!

My fiance wants to wear linen and not dress up. I want him to wear a nice lightweight suit. I have come to the decision that maybe there is a linen suit out there some where. Does anyone have any clue where it could be?

We are going to probably stay in Jamaica but go to a Adult only resort for a few days.

I agree with the majority. I am only going to have seating for about 40 people and we are expecting between 60 and 80 guests. So about half of my guests will be sitting anyway!!!!

That is great that we can use outside florists for our wedding day. Do you think that we can have someone bake our cake from the outside as well? I am going to send Chandlyn a email about this. I am also excited that we can possibly hire a photographer from the outside. The photographer from Negril seems really good. I am going to look into maybe hiring him. You guys are wonderful. We are going to have a rehearsal/wedding dinner. The day after the wedding my fi's aunt is throwing us a party at her home in Jamaica. I am totally excited because we visited her home a few years ago and her home is amazing. I can't wait!!! Then the next day off to our honeymoon ( we still haven't decided where we are going still thinking.....)

I have decided not to have a registry or have a shower because we are expecting quite a few guest at our wedding. I just feel it is not necessary. My fi and I have been together almost 5 years and have everything we need. On the other hand, my bachelorette party I can't wait to have. I am so excited about that!!!!!!!!!!!
