  1. Picture Love! Wow, Sol did an excellent job on your wedding. You must be loving them and I can only imagine how difficult it's going to be to narrow down the ones for an album.

Punta Cana is in the Dominican Republic and it has gorgeous beaches! Wow, congratulations on your engagement Lenore and welcome to the forum! Look forward to hearing more about your planning.
  3. Have a wonderful trip and wedding day of your dreams Jessalyn! Can't wait to hear how it went and see the awesome pics!
  4. Very pretty. I'm still unsure about what I even want in a band so it's good to see all the varieties.
  5. Welcome to the forum Amy! There's a LOT of RM brides to be on here so you'll be able to get plenty of feedback pretty quickly. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck with the planning!
  6. Welcome to the forum Casey! I'm getting married in Mexico but in Los Cabos. I'm sure you'll find plenty of other brides to be marrying in your location. Have fun with the planning!
  7. Hi Jane and welcome to the forum! Another November bride, sweet! Hawaii wedding sounds great. We'd considered it too but were afraid that the cost would add up. Good luck with the planning!
  8. Hi Misty and welcome to the forum! Give it a good couple weeks and I'm sure you'll have figured out your destination and have accrued a bunch of plans to work off of. I'm telling you, you'll get TONS of ideas on here. Good luck with the planning and congratulations on your enagement!
  9. These pictures are stunning! What a uber photogenic and in-love couple! The passion jumps out at you. Thank you for sharing!
  10. Congratulations! It sounds like your wedding went just as we hope they all go with all the love and excitement that it deserves. Looking forward to hearing more and seeing pics!
  11. Thanks for sharing Tammy! I love the shot where the back of your dress is kinda flowing back with the beach breeze. Very romantic shot. So, now this brings up a great point that I have a question about. How much are you having to do to change your name on all the important documents/creditors? Are you working off a check list that you have to go off of? Congratulations again!
  12. Amy, is the skin finish stuff like a translucent shimmer powder or something?
  13. LOVE the pictures! Can't wait to see the wedding day ones. How exciting! And yes, if there's some sort of routine you do for the "baby abs", sharing would be much appreciated.
  14. Wow, I use and LOVE Studio Fix pressed powder but have noticed that at times in my pics, my face stands out as paler. The problem is, my skin is pretty sensitive and I always feel so unnatural looking (as opposed to the natural ghost look? ((shrug))) when I wear any sort of cream foundation. I guess it's worth a try though. Thanks for passing on the info Martha, this was so helpful to learn.
  15. Welcome to the forum Sylvia! I'm sure you'll be thanking Leigh endlessly once you see how many ideas you get from this forum and all the abundance of information as well. And I echo the comment on having 2 of the hardest decisions out of the way. At this point, it should be mostly fun stuff. Have fun with it!
  16. Your budget is going to be dependent on if you're staying at an all-inclusive resort or not, how many people going, wether you go with resort vendors or outside vendors, etc... We're having our wedding at an all-inclusive (Dreams Los Cabos) and each event (welcome dinner, wedding ceremony at Gazebo location, reception on Oceana Terrace) are costing $22 a person setup and that includes of course food and drinks for all (though if you want to upgrade to surf n' turf I believe it's something like $15-20 more per person). Do you have any more detail on where you plan on holding your wedding?
  17. Congratulations Jaime! And thanks to your mystic tan sessions, you're now engaged AND tan! Woot! I'm sure you're glowing over there. So happy for you!
  18. Congratulations on your engagement and welcome to the forum. I can say this is the best site I've stumbled onto at the beginning of my wedding planning and it's been a life saver for me! So, you've come to the right place. I'm sure other RIU brides will be able to provide ya with all the info you need and then some.
  19. Happy Birthday Jaime! I am having birthday envy of you to be able to be in such a great setting for your B'day! Hope you're having a blast!
  20. WOW! Thank you all! You ladies are cavity-inducing sweetness in brides and brides to be. Seriously, what an unexpected dose of sugar for me today. This is a perfect example of why I'm so addicted to this forum. Thanks again for the love!
  21. Welcome to the site and sounds like you went the right route in deciding on a destination wedding. As far as we can see, it's a money saver in the end and makes for even more memorable moments and breathtaking scenery. Good luck and have fun with the planning!
  22. Welcome to the forum! I'm sure you'll get all the info/tips you need and then some. Congratulations on your engagement!
  23. I'm in the DC area too and am using a photographer who was on a boudoir photographers network that Leigh posted on another thread. The one I'm using is Genevieve Lepier Genevieve Leiper Photography and her prices seem right and her photography looks good from what she's sent me so far in this category of photography. I'm getting them done in September (gives me time to do some working out ).
  24. I am sooooo excited about this! ... wait, I can't stop. Thank you for posting this Heidi! You girls are all full of so many ideas and willingness to help. It never ceases to amaze me. Happy in my new addiction...
