Yikes, I'd be pissed too! I'd be seriously afraid that she would not get her passport in time. And why does she want to bring her kids?! She should know her duties as MOH do not include lugging two kids around. Have you talked to her at all about her responsibilities of MOH? I would personally be at the point of promoting another bridesmaid to MOH. Maybe you could do two since your first one isn't really doing so hot just yet.

I'm really making good progress on our website, but I keep skipping over the Bride and Groom section. What do I tell people about us?? Any one have any suggestions? Examples? Stuff that is dumb or cool?

Hi! I came to this site as a DR bride... but have since changed. Anyway, after researching a lot of DR resorts we liked Melia Caribe the best. Good luck picking!! Either way you're going to get a beautiful beach, ocean and palm trees!

Welcome!! Before you know it you'll be crusing around this forum like an old pro! After you play for a little bit you'll get the hang of it. Plus it's laid out really well. I hear ya on the can't please anyone bit. We are just confirming our date after months, seriously like 3 months of looking around and researching. But it seems that after you have the location nailed down it gets a little easier. Or, at least, a little less stressful. Not everyone is going to be happy no matter what. IE my aunt HATES puerto vallarta because the last time she went there she sprained her ankle, and hence says she will not come to our wedding. Too bad for her then!! Anyway, I'm rambling. Good luck deciding!!

Hi. Welcome to the forum!! There is so much info on the PV portion of the forum. Also, I was there during spring break a few years ago and I think if you try and pick a resort on the southern end it should be a little better as it's further away from the downtown crazyness and all the clubs.

I feel your pain. We're going through the same sort of thing. Have you checked Cheap Caribbean They usually have way lower prices than many of the travel sites. I say if this is where you and FI want to get married then you go for it. It's really only a couple hundred more than you thought - so it's not too bad.
