  1. I have the same situation. I was thinking about getting flip flops from this site Bridal Flip Flops, Honeymoon Sandals Wedding Sneakers, Swarovski Crystal Flip Flops
  2. My date(s) are still open on the calendar! Only one booking for November 08! I only emailed her yeserday.... i'm just impatient! Ann, maybe if you would stop taking all of that poor girls time!! J/K! Your wedding is so close! Edit: I have another ? how much deposit do you have to put down to reserve your date?
  3. Tammy... I kinda figured that was what you thought. All this talk about bpics and look at you go!! Back to the topic. I have to agree with Sarah. FI would understand a male doctor, but I don't think he'd be thrilled with a male photographer for bpics. Why? Because he knows how many good photogs there are out there. I've shown him tons in the past 3 months and he would know that getting just as good of a female photog would be possible. Don't get me wrong, Jonathan, I love your work, but I think for Joe it would kind of ruin the present if he knew another guy was taking the pics.
  4. yep, there is a site builder wizzard that kinda walks you through everything. There were a few things it took me a few minutes to figure out - like the rsvp part, but other than that it's easy. And actually kinda fun. It's called Wedding Window - since the link doesn't tell you that
  5. ohh!! I just stared ours. We're using Free Wedding Website Trial | Personal Wedding Websites it's super easy, and you can add pretty much anything. Music too, photos, rsvp, etc. 99 dollars for 18 months, and 25 dollars for a custom domain name for 2 years
  6. that's a good idea. I never thought to rent a suit. hey, where's your siggy picture from?
  7. They look great!! Can I ask a few questions? How many did you make? How much did they cost you?
  8. Hey ladies (and few gents) we've been discussing what Joe will wear to our wedding.... not suprisingly everyone has an opinion our parents think he should still wear a tux, and Joe and I disagree. What are your grooms wearing?? If you have pics, I'd love to see!
  9. I think someone posted the idea I'm using on this forum We're buying small sand dollars and laying them out along with multi colored sharpies for people to write small notes on. Then at home we'll put them all in a vase on our mantle.
  10. thanks for posting!! I was looking for a place to customize travel mugs!!
  11. I don't know of a female photog in Michigan, but I was just reading this and wanted to add my two cents to what Jonathan said. While I totally agree that there are lots of very talented male photogs out there that could produce some seriously sexy B photos, I personally know even though I might feel comfortable with a male that my FI would FLIP if he found out a guy took the pics... and yes, he'd totally ask.
  12. Ok, this is a really dumb question - but is Las Caletas an island or not? I keep finding/hearing contradictory information..........
  13. I vote number 1. It will go so well with your dress, and plus it sets you apart from your centerpices
  14. I just watched it!!!!!!!!! Those are soo great! I love the black and white one with the splash of the wave. You to are such a cute couple!!
  15. ugh, i still can't view the pictures!!!!! I even downloaded the actiwhatever!
  16. I just mean that maybe people that don't travel as much would go into it thinking that since it's all technically the "same" resort that they have access to all of it. So, I was just wondering if people were aware that not all sections were created equal.

IMO, that is a part of their accomodations - if they stay at dreams, it's not included. However, if it's my fault that they didn't book at dreams (e.g. I didn't get them the information soon enough) then I would pay. I think you've provided the best possible deal for them, they are attending for your event, so if they chose to stray away, you shouldn't be responsible to pay for that. I'm sorry, that sounds harsh. I just think it'll be a lot if you end up paying $75pp if they have the option to stay elsewhere. I'd make sure they know about the day/nightpass before they book. I got invited to a wedding in Mexico last March, and it never crossed my mind to stay somewhere other than where they were holding the event. And if I had chosen to stay somewhere else, I would have expected to pay the penalty for it - it's my choice, not hers. Anyways, a lot of people disagree with me. If you can afford it, I'm sure your guests would appreciate it. Also, if it's just one or two people, then I could see myself flipping for the extra expense, no biggy - but I wouldn't commit to it. Sorry, I might sound mean... but I'm ok with it! lol Thats a good point BUT did these guests know that they wouldn't be allowed into every section of the resort if they stayed at the more wallet friendly part??
  18. Oh, I'm sure we are! (and we're lucky too!) I just meant for the week And Ann better stick around too because I'm going to be flooding her with questions!

  20. Wow, that's a really good question! I guess my first initial reaction would be to pay for it.
  21. I cannot believe she asked you to do research for her. As if you don't have enough stuff on your plate with your wedding just months away. Why are some people so selfish?
