  2. YAY! I started exercising again. I did 3.5 miles on the elliptical and 15 minutes of abs work.
  3. His sister lives in Miami, so usually we stay with her. Last year though we stayed at the Hotel Nash for a week (got a great package deal on priceline or something like that!). It's a really small, simple art deco hotel. We loved it! I don't think you'd ever get more than 2 people into that room though, small. But nice! Hotel Nash - Miami Beach - Hotel Nash Reviews - TripAdvisor Here's the review I had written up about it: Miami Beach: Hotel Nash - Traveler Reviews - Fantastic Location, Great Experience! - TripAdvisor FABULOUS location - a block and a half from the beach, within walking distance of clubs and everything else in South Beach! GREAT!!! ....and their bathrooms are incredible!!!
  4. We seriously had SO MUCH fun there! We've been to Miami every summer since 2003 (except this year!) and it's the one place we go every single time we visit!
  5. MANGO'S!!!!!!!!! In South Beach. It's sooooooo much fun! It's latin music. During certain songs, the male bartenders take off their shirts, get up on the bar and do some fun dance numbers (So do the women, but their shirts stay on.)
  6. When my niece turned 1, I got her a ton of books... board books, sensory books, squishy books made out of fabric, anything I could find that was appropriate for 1 year olds! Mostly, I got them at Barnes & Noble; they had a great selection then (though now she's 4! eek!) THis one is NEAT!: Barnes*&*Noble.com - Books: Monday the Bullfrog, by Matthew Van Fleet, Book and Toy, book & plush toy some books listed as 'baby's first book': Barnes*&*Noble.com - Children's Books: My First Book & Games Board books - Barnes*&*Noble.com Books - Board Book (Eric Carle books are very popular!)

I KNOW that ROR does not have availability on 8/8/08. Christina was trying for that date... I hope they have the 9th available for you!!!

  18. eek, these are hard choices! everyone brings so much to the forum!!
  19. This is a very tough one...I have absolutely no idea who I'll be voting for!!! Can I vote for everyone
  20. One word of caution...the Riu books up FAST for its weddings. I think most of the spring & summer of 2008 are already completely filled. Not sure when you wanted your wedding...but that's something to consider if it's in 08! You can check availability on Wedding Packages by Destination. Honeymoon Holidays. Weddings by Riu. Just enter the resort, pick a type of wedding (free, classic, royal, etc) and 'check availability' for the date you're interested in. That said, I vote Riu (though I might be a bit biased )! I know nothing about Breezes. But there are 30+ Riu Ocho Rios brides on here...there has to be a reason for that! Keep us updated! And let us know if you have any more questions. Have you read through our Riu Ocho Rios planning threads in the Jamaica section of the forum? That'd give you a GREAT idea what you'd be dealing with there. ....one more thing; the final deciding factor for me was affordability for my guests. The ROR was more affordable than other resorts I was looking at.
  21. If you need to go bridezilla on them...let me know. Maybe we can rile up the Philly area brides and we'll ALL go bridezilla on them! hehehe
