Thanks girls - I think I'll try to talk to her and see if there's anything wrong because she's a total people person, she loves to go out and have a good time whether she knows people or not. I understand not coming to the wedding because of the money factor but my engagement party and bachelorette were totally covered

i think so - i think those numbers are just what they'll pick out as being the best shots

I wish it were because of either of those, then I'd have an easier time understanding She's pretty free with her money, and she'll know just about everyone who's going to all of those things :

i don't know what to think of this girl... we've been friends (through work) for a couple of years, we get along great, go out for drinks after work together, whatever... so she was invited to our engagement party back in august...she rsvp'd and said she was coming, but didn't show up...fine i figured something must have come up last minute she was invited to the wedding, she said she was coming for sure there was no way she'd miss it...she rsvp'd that she's coming....now she's saying that she's not she was invited to my bach party and shower (both this weekend) and rsvp'd to both saying she's coming AGAIN...and today we find out that she's not coming to either of those either... i really don't know what to think...she's not even giving any reasons why she's backed out of all this stuff, she has just changed her mind and is now saying no...should i take this personally and be upset by it or just shrug it off? i really don't know how to react

We chose the Mayan mainly because we wanted to get married somewhere we had been before and were familiar with. We didn't want to get to our destination and be surprised ya know?

Ya, when you check in you get your tickets for the a la cartes and when you book the a la cartes you turn the ticket in. You always have to make a reservation for the a la cartes and I'm not sure how many times you get to go if you're only staying 3 days because I've only ever gone for a week at a time... Sorry!

I agree with Tammy - Tulum for sure and you can't miss 5th Avenue in Playa Del Carmen!

wow that really sucks i'm glad we didn't choose the DR now because FI is adamant that he only wants one wedding....so there's no way he'd ever go for getting married by a JP then having a symbolic ceremony (tried that one already when we found out his family had only saved up $54 between them...i was gonna tell them to screw themselves and have them watch us get married in front of a JP and then leave them behind when we go to mexico hehe)

No special reason why we chose our date other than it worked with our work schedule. We get a week off every 5 weeks and March 27th falls in the middle of our week off

Ok so what I've gotten so far in terms of outside vendors is they don't allow any at all - I wonder though if you'd be able to get a couple of the dancers from the entertainment staff to do something? They're really talented! Were you given a cost for having the arch set up?

those are so pretty - i love them!! wtg that must have been a lot of work - i know just putting together my std's almost killed me and they were just a piece of vellum and cardstock basically lol
