  2. I didn't wrap mine.. first mistake! I would bring extra if you have them!

  4. I am sorry, it doesn't work for me, but go ahead without me girls! My family is staying with me that since that is Easter weekend! I want to hear all about it!!
  5. I like the orange.... it creates a little contrast!

Trace and I looked at this gazebo... it is lower than the rest, and I don't think Trace could have stood under neath it.
  7. I had my wedding at EDR, and the overall experience was wonderful. We chose this location based on a few reasons, but the "adults only" aspect was one of them! The sandbags are a downer, but there are 2 locations for weddings where there are no sandbags behind them. The food and the drinks were great, the grounds and service were wonderful too! There are many EDR brides on the forum (past and future) who can help you with any questions!
  8. Ann, Stephanie? Does this work for you guys? If it does then we can start talking about where we can meet.
  9. You can bring a CD, or hire someone. We were worried about the CD, and being able to actually hear the music over the waves, but when you say your I do's they are amplified. So, I think the cd would work fine since everyone said they could hear us just fine. Otherwise, I highly recommend Sonom Tharpa.

I think all this planning is making my head frazzle!! I had chairs for everyone, even the 2 photographers, but Trace & I, and the wedding party never sat down, so if I did it over again, I would not count them in for the chairs.

I'm still waiting to hear back from the concierge at my resort too to see what they have to offer. I'll let you know if they give me anything good. THis sounds like a really great deal, plus they get to see Isla Mujeres!

Thanks x I kind of checked around, and Alex at EDR got us the best deal. He was at the K Activites kiask, and worked for Lomas. The actual catamaran was at Maroma Marina, which was about 15 minutes away from EDR. Just an FYI, they said NO drinking on the catamaran was allowed, and that the free drinks were supposed to be given to us afterwards at the Marina. Well, they ended up contiuously refilling our glasses on the catamaran. Alex had mentioned that we would be a liability if we were drinking and snorkeling, but it was a different story on the boat! After the boat, we received free chips salsa, guac and dips at the Marina's restaurant. We had to buy our drinks there. The entire trip was about 4 hours...
  13. We did just south of Cancun and it was 50.00 per person which included transportation, drinks, snorkeling, and a spinneker (kind of like parasailing). Our entire group had fun.

Thanks. IT was Sunday when we took the pictures, and we left on Monday.. so, I just rinsed it and hung it out to dry for the day. It was still a little damp when we left, but I had a plastic liner to use in my garment bag. Then when we got home, I brought it to the drycleaners right away. Unfortunatly, I have not got it back yet, so I don't know if it was ruined. The fabric was silk charmeuse (I think) and after it became wet with the salt water, it felt almost stiff-like.... so hopefully once it is cleaned it feels silky-smooth again. It wouldn't be the end of the world if it isn't though! I really am not sure I will wear it again.

We, too, are worried about being too hung over to get up and do this, but I couldn't tell at all that you partied the night before. So we will see! Great pictures! I think we were up and ready by 7:00. Our original plans were to go to Tulum, but with feeling the way we were, we decided to stay in the resort. So, we probably met up with the photographers and taking pictures by 8:00 am. I would say it took about 2 hours, but we took our time, and walked from one end of the resort to the other.... I am happy to hear that the pictures don't reflect the way we were feeling!
  17. No one gave us any problems either. There weren't very many people- if any, down by gazebo 55.

There weren't any sand bags there, and there were more large structured rocks to sit on, or whatever. Then we just started walking down the beach in the resort and stopping along the way. A few of them were taken in the salt water pool.
  19. And, just so you know you can change the music while you view them under "music options", and the slideshow is on the left and is called "webshow"..

We are pretty happy with them- but it was really early in the morning the day after the wedding, and we were both hung over! (and it shows in some!) There are a lot of them! If you need the code it is Selly the dress 13949

My guests ended using those more than the pub tables!

However, I thought they were included, but I guess it wasn't. :-( I also like the rose petals on the tables! Thanks! I did have the Mexican Cocktail party, but instead of having the bright mexican colors, I opted just for white linens on the pub tables with ivory bows. The bows were 6.00 each, and the linens were included. I think they give you one table per 8 people, so I had 5 tables. I also saved rose petals from the isle, and had them spread them on the tables, along with ivory votives (which were 2.00 each) I them had them place an empty vase on each table, in which we all put our bouquets in. (there was 5 of us)

I have been at the resort in 2007 for a weekend and fell in love with the place. My wedding coordinator is Valeria. Heather Bryce Ford & Heather Bowes' Wedding Website - WedQuarters We used Sonom Tharpa for our Ceremony, Category Music - List of products - Welcome, Guest Weddings in Cancun & Riviera Maya They are under the classic, then Sonom Tharpa Duo, and then select their songs to listen to. I loved them! Then we used our ipod for the cocktail reception, which worked out great. Alls we needed to bring was the ipod, and they had the connection, and we rented the speakers!
