so sorry to hear about your experience. i shot a wedding there last year and everything seemed fine. i will have to ask my bride who she worked with. and waiting on your pics that long. thats the worst!!!

picking pics for my new galleries is a painstaking process to say the least. id love to get some feedback on which pics in the favorites gallery you like the best. yes there are a ridiculous 160 or so pics in there now and i really need to narrow it down to about 60-70. i know how y'all like looking at wedding pics so if you have time and want to help me out a little, grab a paper and pencil and please write down which pics (by number) touch you the most. tia so, so much to anyone who wants to take on this challenge. heres the link - leighs new site shes working on - click on weddings then porfolio and go to favorites and the site isnt done. there are a few more wedding galleries that im going to ad and an engagement gallery, plus all the other things like bio, pricing, featured wedding, etc.... i just need to get past this favorites thing thats driving me crazy. and you can mute the music if you get tired of hearing it over and over. i will be adding more music as i keep working on the site. you all are awesome. thanks for your help. im a little nervous asking but so appreciate it!!! ps - please dont send this link out to anyone. i will do a big reveal to the public and announce it on my blog when i get the entire site ready.

im sure your chances of being the only one is better on a weekday. im sure anythings possible for the right price. they may charge more because they are losing revenue from other weddings they could be having that day. good luck!

jules - no luck with the photographers i gave you? imho the photographers i referrred you to have stronger work. and they all said they could work within your budget. hope it works out.

it depends on what you want. IMHO you are missing out on some of the best shots of the day by doing away with the getting ready and reception pics. in all honestly the ceremony and family group pics are some of the more organized pics of the day. and thats ok as long as you realize that. the getting ready pics, the reception and the time alone with the couple are where i really capture the couple, their personalities and all that great emotion. now there are good pics to be had during the formals and ceremony but youre basically being directed the entire time. not really a chance to cut loose, be yourselves. here are two slideshows, if the getting ready, reception and couple time were taken out it just wouldnt seem like a complete story to me, but im a photojournalistic wedding photographer. if you cant add more time to your wedding day, maybe consider a day after shoot. even if you have to do it back in the states. http://www.leighmillerphotography.co..._nate_wedding/ Darkroom SlideShare

lenita - im sorry i didnt email you that pricelist last night. things were kind of crazy as i tried to get ready to leave my office and my family unexpectedly for a week due to the death in my family. in all honesty i dont think it would work in my schedule anyway. i am free that weekend but im already going to be away from my family for 2 weeks in feb due to this trip to memphis and my trip to chicago. im here in denver - 3+ hour layover. pm or email me what kind of budget you are looking at and i will help you find someone. i could get some names to you probably about 24 hours after you give me your budget. let me know if that would help - leigh

morning gals. i will send out an email later this week addressing some of these things. im hoping to start shooting around 11-12. i will go earlier and set some things up. if everyone goes "together" meaning you ladies dont mind being around while the other gals are having their session then it will probably take about 3 hours. i will just set up something and rotate you gals in and out. but dont worry. all the pics wont look the same and we will do unique things for each of you too. i know ann is thinking something sporty spice cause shes athletic for some of the pics and everyone may not want that. it may be possible to find someone on craigslist or something to come and do your makeup for not a lot of money. my only concern with doing something like that is time. sometimes these makeup artists can take forever to do the makeup. one thing to do is go to the mac counter and ask for makeup application. then buy what you like. even if you arent a makeup person, you will need to wear makeup for this shoot. and i dont want to scare some of you, but fake eyelashes look amazing!!! i have mostly armani and mac make up and dont mind sharing. hey sarah, im going to be staying in the hilton by myself thursday night. do you want to come over and stay with me so you dont have to drive in the morning? i will send out another one of those group emails later this week. btw - if you emailed me anytime around 6pm last night until about 8:30 am this morning i didnt get it. problems with my server all fixed now

ok so it looks like sarah, lenita and ann are out of the boudoir closet!!! im waiting to hear from one more lgal that shes ok with her named being released then i will send you ladies another email later this week. i will answer the next round of questions etc...including those questions in your email today sarah. and you all can just call me with a CC for the retainer to hold your spot (that retainer goes towards the cost of your session). thanks! leigh
