  1. Does anyone know how much a cab ride is from the airport to Dreams Resort? I'm trying to decide if I should buy the transfers or if it is cheaper to get a cab...

Maybe I should send her an email to make sure we are on board.

  4. There are a couple threads on here on sunset times. Search for sunset times and it should bring up a couple... I also just googled sunset times.
  5. Hi Ladies, So I emailed the WC at Dreams to find out what time the ceremony would start and she indicated at sunset which is 6:00 pm. I just check 3 websites and all three are giving me different sunset times. We are getting married in PV on October 15, 2007 and I am freaking out because I want to get started on my invites this weekend so that I can send them off no later than the 20th. Does anyone know a more accurate time??

I had set up 3 separate playlists- dinner music, which I played on random; first dances- which was composed of our first dance, our parents' dance, and our first group dance which were played in order; and finally our party music which we again just put on random. I pretty much was always the one changing the playlist or messing with the Mp3 player. We have a Dell Music DJ and it worked great. Another friend had her IPOD with her, and we did get a couple requests through the evening which she just happened to have. We would just pause my Mp3 player so as not to disrupt the playlist and plug hers in instead. It actually worked great. We rented the sound system from Dreams. Would you recommend the sound system? Also, what type of mp3 player did you have? I have an I-river and want to make sure it will work with the sound system...

Hope this helps How much did the altec run you? Do you know if you have to use an ipod or if you can use any mp3 player? Does anyone have any info on whether you can use any mp3 player?
  8. Welcome to the forum! Im getting married at Dreams PV in October... Let us know what advise we can offer.
  9. I might be in if he gives us a good group rate. If we use my place...Maybe I can get a discount!
  10. Can anyone pm me some price ranges for Bobbi and Leigh. I know it wont be prices set in stone but I would like to get an idea so I can make sure it is in my budget...
  11. That idea sounds awesome! Im also thinking of doing them for my hubby and wish I would have done them with leigh the last time she was here... I live in a condo/loft down town and would open my place to everyone if leigh wanted to come to Chicago to do them for us. From what I remember, she did say she would be back in Chicago. Maybe we can find out when and we can go from there... My place is really small but Im sure she can work with it. Let me know what you girls think.
  12. Happy belated! hope you guys have a good time and celebrate over the weekend.

I have it on my website and we'll dance to it sometime during the wedding. For our first dance I wanted to do something crazy like Amy and Robert did for their first dance on Everybody Loves Raymond but Im not sure.
  14. Can you wear a veil if your hair is down? Im not sure if I want my hair up or down...But I do want some type of flower. Im having gerber daisies so I wanted a gerber daisy for my hair.
  15. I haven't worked out yet today but I will get in 30 min of cardio and some leg work. I have my RT class tomorrow so I don't want to be too sore. Yesterday I ran and walked around the track four times and that's about 3.5 miles. It was so much harder than running on the treadmill!

I bought my dress at Eva's over the weekend and dress alterations there are 250 (almost half of what I paid for the dress).

  18. I'm having 2 and he's having four. In the last couple years I have realized who my true friends are and I don't want to ask distant friends only to fill up space. I will have two guys each per girl. I think it will look cute!
  19. It would be awesome to get married in the city you first vacationed together!
  20. BTW Tara, they have canopy tours that I want to try so bad!
  21. I am so glad that you are siked about the venue. I would fill out the wedding request form on Dreams' website and hopefully she'll get back to you soon. When I first filled it out, she called me but I missed her call. After that, I've only had email contact with her. Im sure if I asked her to call me, she would. She seems really nice and yesterday while looking for the emails to send you the info, I realized that I have over 20 emails from her so is ok.
