  1. I used a inkjet and I think my stds came out just as good. When I went to buy the envelopes, the people at the paper store complimented me on how good they printed on the inkjet.
  2. I think it's funny that I haven't even given that many people the stds and people who I don't even know are viewing it... My FMIL has already started to give her family the website information. Im like wait.... Can I be the one to provide people with MY wedding information... But I know she is excited that her son is getting married so I won't let it bother me.
  3. Tammy, I just tried and you cannot log on without a pw. I think either someone gave the pw to a friend to have them look at the site or someone is messing with us. There are two people on there who I don't know but they can very well just me playing with us. No big deal...
  4. Yeah, the comment that they left was nothing bad or anything. Im sure who ever it was was trying to be a comedian... I was just wondering if anyone had ran across the same thing.
  5. I'm giving everyone most of the info through the website and Im also having them RSVP on the website instead of doing the response cards and spending money on postage, since it may increase in May.

My DH was really skeptical about the whole wedding website and people getting ahold of our info so I hope he doesnt flip if he looks at the website guest book... I really hope someone is messing with us!
  7. I just checked my wedding website visitor log and people who I don't even know have signed in... The funny thing is that I haven't even sent out my STDs to all my guests. Only about 3 or 4 people have the password... This is crazy! Has this happened to anyone else??
  8. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is all I can say...
  9. I usually get a grande nonfat white mocha! YUMMY!!!

  11. Hi ladies, I really like the JD2006 Maggie Sottero dress. Im not sure if any of you have tried it on or looked at it. I was wondering if anyone knows how much this dress runs?? I don't want to spend too much on my dress. Pictures are more important to me but I really like the scrunched up look.

Wonder if we were bidding against each other I did a bid of .99 but lost the bid this morning. If it was you, I don't mind, glad someone on here got them! I'll bid at a later date.
  14. I have also posted some questions you should ask prospective photographers. Once you have received the answers, see how comfortable you feel with the photographer. Definitely go with your gut instinct.

I know the link is posted on here a couple times...if you were interested you could do a search on the forum for silk flowers...also I'm pretty sure there are additional pics in Lenita's wedding review. Her photog, Jill, said they looked amazing and that even she didn't realize they were fake until someone told her! :-) Thanks for the great info... I will look into it.
  16. So I really want to find an outside vendor for my flowers but I can't seem to find one. Im thinking of just getting my flowers through dreams. I need help! For ladies getting married at Dreams, what are you doing about flowers
  17. Hi girls, How early did you guys bid on your lotion? I'm planning on bidding but the closest date is four days and 22 hours. Should I wait or bid now?
  18. IMHO I think that your dad wearing white pants is a cute idea, I like it!
  19. Those sound so cute, you have to find your cord!!!!!!!!! How big are they? Are they paper?
  20. I thought I would post a list of questions for everyone that is looking for a photographer... Just remember, it's all about who you are comfortable with. Are you the wedding photographer who will actually take our pictures? Will you have an assistant? What’s your primary style? Posed and formal, relaxed, photojournalistic, creative, artistic, candid, traditional? Do you shoot in color or black and white? Or both? Do you shoot in a digital format that can create both color and b/w versions of the same picture? What kind of input can we have on the direction of the shots? Can we give you a list to work from? How many weddings have you photographed? Do you develop your own film? Can we buy the negatives from you? Can other people take photos while you are taking photos? How many photos will you take overall? What time do you arrive to setup your equipment? Hours of service: Do you bring backup equipment with you? How many people will cover the event? Do you provide a written contract and guarantee? What are your policies regarding delivery times? When is the deposit due? Is gratuity included in the price? If not, what is the percentage of the service charge? What percentage are the taxes? What is the overtime charge? Are there any additional charges not mentioned? (i.e. travel) What are the refunds/cancellation terms? What are your criteria for choosing what you would photograph at my wedding? Ask to see complete wedding coverages, not just end products.
  21. If you want, you can pm me your e-mail and I will send you a list of questions I asked my photographer... At first I felt weird about asking her certain questions but she was great to answer all of them and send them backt to me immediately.
  22. Hey everyone, I won the daily lottery yesterday!
  23. I actually got a quote from them. I posted something asking photographers for advise. They had a professional photographer and a master photographer price list. for I think four hours the professional photographer delivered 100 photographs and the master delivered 120. the price was about 1600 and 1800. They definitely do great work but I thought it was a bit much for the amount of photographs they delivered in the time frame. If you want I can look for the quote they gave me and I can send it to you. just pm me and I can look for it. That is a big reason I ended up going with Michelle... I will probably be broke for the next year or so but I thought it was well worth it. Remember photos is the only thing you'll have once it's all over.
