I just looked up the program myself as I want to take bd photos and do my own album. I think you can get the leather bound books only through the photographers program. it looks pretty cool! I think I might purchase it.

  3. I've also heard great things about Barcelona Tapas. I'm actually having my welcome dinner there.
  4. For those who carried on their dresses, did you buy a dress/garmet bag? If so, where did you get it?
  5. You should try the Maggie Sottero line of dresses. Here is the link to my dress. Similar to the ones you liked. You might find something of her's you like. MaggieSottero.com - Dress Detail
  6. For those who got married at Dreams and did the free package (and added to it), did you have to pay for everyone individually for the private ceremony or did you have to pay for anyone over the 20 people? I'm still a bit confused with that...

What type of iron on paper did you buy? I bought my bags at hobby lobby and are thicker material. I also bought paper that did not seem to transfer very well. Any recommendations?
  8. Im not sure how to download fonts from the internet... Can someone help. Thanks

It seems like she does an awesome job!
  10. The video that comes up when I look at it is from Dreams Los Cabos not Dreams PV...
  11. Yikes! my married names is HOOCHIE SMURF...
  12. I did a lot of research on photographers in PV and it does seem like they are extremely limited... I actually went with Michelle Turner. She does amazing work and since she lives part of the year in PV, I didn't have to pay travel or accomidation costs. She is a bit pricey but I think it is well worth the money. I also found that other photographers were not as pricey but the number of photos really didn't match the price. In my opinion, photography is where I wanted the bulk of my expenses to go. Like someone on here said... at the end of the wedding the food will be eaten, the drinks will be drunk but your photos will last a lifetime... Michelle seems really nice and got back to me in a timely manner. I've told her about this forum but I think she is always a bit busy to actually join us. Give her a call and let her know I recommended her, maybe she'll join us on the forum and we can see eachothers pics like leigh and jonathan display of the other beautiful brides!

I definately chose it because of this fourm and the easily accessable information. The good thing now, is that there is a lot of information on a lot of different resorts on this forum - so there is a lot to choose from! The only thing I didn't like about Dreams was that you can't swim in the ocean there - but I'm over it already! lol Dreams pool is awesome! you wont even think about the ocean...
  16. Im totally going to Hobby Lobby after work today! How would you decorate the front of it? Any ideas
  17. Hi girls, I had previously posted a thread on getting legally married in the states and doing a ceremony in Mexico. Since reading all the horror stories about trying to get documents recognized in the US, it has scared me a bit. I was thinking of getting married here in the Chicago and not telling anyone and having a minister through Dreams PV marry us out there. For those who have done something similar, how did you go about doing this Is it possible to get the free wedding and be able to add on?
  18. Im also the off beat bride... Very true!
  19. Im a Dreams PV bride but not till October. I don't know if I can be of any help since it's 3+ months from now.
  20. Reading some problems/issues some brides have been facing when doing a legal ceremony in Mexico I was thinking of getting legally married here in the states and doing a religous ceremony instead of the legal ceremony. For those that have gotten married at Dreams or any other resort, how does the ceremony performend by the minister work? Im not sure if you still have to legally get married there or what the process is... Please help!
  21. Welcome to the forum! I too am a PV Dreams bride getting married in October. I emailed the new WC earlier in the week and Marilu responded. She indicated that she is still in the WC position until the new WC settles in. Hope she is good and easier to get a hold of. I haven't had many issues with Marilu but she has been a bit late on her responses... Let me know if you have any questions or need any help.
