Biggest Loser Meal Plan - Home Delivery...
*JillD* replied to Alyssa's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
Wouldn't that be nice to just have your meals delivered each week! It does seem expensive though. I don't even know if spend $400 a month on groceries! -
Liquid Diets.....Anybody tried one?

You have energy like you haven't felt in years. People have cured themselves of serious illnesses through internal cleansing so it's cool to say it's not for you but don't write it off completely for everyone. I agree the body can cleanse itself in theory, but that assumes a particular lifestyle that many people don't lead, so cleanses can be a starting point on the road to wellness. How many of us eat foods made with preservatives & other synthetics? This kind of stuff is toxic (i.e. causes cellular mutation i.e. disease) and does build up in our bodies. Some of these ingredients weren't in our food sources 50 years ago and our bodies haven't evolved that much that fast imo. I'm curious as to what cleanse was featured on Oprah? Not that I don't believe the study, just curious as there are many types of cleanses and results. Don't mean to be preachy because I am no example of health, just sharing what I think I've learned over the years. If it isn't for you it isn't for you, but it may be for someone else Those are really good points Jamie, I would love to do a cleanse, because I think it would be good for my body to just clean out and also try to eliminate the want for certain foods. And I love the idea of the amount of energy that you gain while doing it. I'm afraid I would try it for a couple of days and wouldn't be able to keep going. If I even made it a couple of days, I could totally see myself caving after like 12 hours! -
How was everyones weekend?? Mine was pretty good. We had that birthday party this morning and I knew there would be tons of yummy food there, and I was right! So, I didn't eat before I left because I figured that would help me to get fuller faster and also would give me some flexibility since I hadn't consumed any calories yet. I tried a little bit of the things I liked but didn't go overboard and I made sure that I drank a LOT of non calorie beverages, and it really helped because I was so full from water, coffee, and diet coke that I couldn't keep eating. How has everyone else been doing?

we had our reception on the terrace, so I don't know if its the same on the beach, but I had small square votive holders, with tealights in them, and they wouldn't stay lit at all. I would assume its windy at the beach too only because that whole side of the resort by the tower is really windy. When you walk down the walkway to the tower building you get hit with wind, when you lay by the pool by the tower its windy (which is really nice when you're really hungover and don't want to get too hot, lol)

We didn't have much time to do any tours while at dreams since the guys had a fishing trip planned for one day, we had the wedding another day, and the other days all of our guests were arriving. So by the time we got to our honeymoon resort we just wanted to relax! But if you have time, I would definetly check out their tours they sound really cool!

is it all vegetables that you hate? Is it like an allergic reaction or just like a reaction to hating vegetables (texture, taste, etc..)?

As far as I know Dreams cancun just has a preferred vendor list and I don't believe bringing a photographer that is a guest is a problem.

You took the words right out of my mouth, lol! Tammy's intention of posting this was not to be hurtful to brides that are getting married at EDR, the point is as Ann said to hurt their business to get them to make changes. As far as other resorts, there are some that have policies against outside vendors, but EDR's is very extreme in comparison. Also, EDR is an expensive resort and all of the brides getting married there are spending a pretty penny for it, everyone should at least have the option to make choices regarding their wedding and not get forced into paying these crazy fees.

BDW Biggest Loser Season 2 Sign Up thread (DEADLINE IS HERE!)
*JillD* replied to Yari's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
If we do have the week off in between and end on July 2nd, I should probably let you all know now that I will be on vacation that week, I don't really know what to do about weighing in, maybe I'll have to count my weigh in for the week before as my final weigh in? Or I can weigh in before we leave. I don't want to weigh in after because it will probably be not so good! So could I do my final weigh in on June 28th? -
I think we should start a season 2 thread too, the sooner the better that way everyone that wants to do it has time and hopefully we can go seamlessly into next season. As far as the money, I guess whoever wins can decide what to do with it, the money is great and all, but for me losing the weight is really the important thing, not that the money wouldn't be great too! so whoever wins, you decide

While I liked the idea of rolling the money over into season 2, I forgot that some people won't be participating. So, whoever wins should take it and buy some new clothes or get a massage or something fun! Glenda, great tips once again! I've had so many parties the past few weeks, and two nights out with DH, where we decided to drink A LOT, so I'm glad they're done! We have another birthday party to go to this weekend, but I'm going to be very careful about my food selections, only healthy stuff, or nothing.

Erica, you had a tough week being in NY and all. Don't worry, I know you are so good about focusing, you can do it, get yourself back on track for this week.

Starfish Symbolism and Raffia Fans
*JillD* replied to foxytv's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
Those look so great Tami!! When I got married I searched and searched for something about the symbolism of the starfish and all I could find was the story about the starfish (I'm sure you know which one I mean) I wish I could have found this when I had my wedding! -

*JillD* replied to Christine's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
Thanks Amy! I was doing really well the first few weeks and since then I've been doing this kind of half ass, so this week, I'm back on track, at least thats what I keep telling myself! Glenda I think I need a daily motivational text message from the "overachiever" lol! -

*JillD* replied to Christine's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
I think Ann will have to post the update, I'm not really sure where everyones at, lol! I think I've lost 15 pounds so far, but the last few weeks haven't been so good, so I'm hoping for a really big loss this week! -
Thanks Yari! That's right, a loss is a loss! But I want a big loss this week!

I did one of her videos on my cable on demand channel. It was 30 day shred, it was tough, she's like a drill sargeant! It wasn't very long though, but I bet her videos are longer. I'd buy her videos if I didn't have P90X on its way to my house!
