No, you're not being selfish, its your honeymoon!!! Are you switching right after the wedding or will you still be around for a couple of days? I know our wedding is on friday and we switch on sunday which is also the same day all of our guests are flying home, but I don't think they'd be offended if we left for our honeymoon! Other people are so selfish, don't they realize that this time in your life really is all about you!

okay, I think just the flower would look great, it sounds like it will cover a good portion of the top of the cake. I don't think I would do a candy and the flower, I think its going to be too much, and an odd number of things would look better, like 3, but I think that will be too crowded. Will the cakes be that fondant stuff, that looks really smooth, or will they have like the decorative frosting trim. Sorry for all the questions, I'm trying to picture this in my head! FI just came over to read what I was typing and he wanted to be sure that I put his 2 cents in, he said, and I quote "don't do the candies, the candies always suck, you're going to ruin your cake" I tried to explain that they were chocolates made by a baker and they were probably really good, but he wouldn't listen

It sounds like you've had a pretty good week! I broke down today, I drank too much last night and ate a steak & cheese sub for lunch, it was good, but I felt really guilty and sick to my stomach after, so I had to work out hard tonight to make up for it! I usually weigh in on fridays, because the weekends are sometimes bad for me. But everyone has different days because some people go to meetings too. So whatever day works best for you. I'll be posting in the morning. I'm starving right now!

I'm back!! I did 40 minutes on the treadmill, I wouldn't let myself get off until I burned at least 400 calories. Jules you're a slavedriver!!

Hi Amy, I am using Citlalli from Claudia's studio. I don't know yet if you have to pay a guest fee, I still have to ask, but they did say you could bring your own photographer, so I know that parts okay. I was actually going to try to negotiate with dreams to see if I could get something else instead of the resort photographer, because its not really needed. I was going to ask for the sound system or some money off the DJ or something like that. But I haven't yet.

How bout we play pass the starfish around, when one persons done they mail it to the next person who wants it, what do you guys think? or is that too much work?

okay, maybe you should go get a manicure soon and go to a good place and ask them for some advice to get your nails in shape, you've got 3 months, that should be the perfect amount of time. And then maybe once your nails are in better shape the acrylics will work okay, I'm sure the manicurist can figure it out And as christine said, stop cracking your knuckles!

Cabo wedding coordinator, I forget her name (sorry!), posted a thread a few days ago where you could punch in your wedding location and date and it would give you the sunset time. That is where I found out that it is at 621 on my date, but I'm hoping that means when the sun is totally gone, otherwise, I'm going to be in the middle of my reception at that point! Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait and see!

Tammy I think we have the same nails! I don't know how long either, but maybe they could tell you better at the place you go. What might help too is start eating Jello. I know, Jello is not one of my favorite things, but when I do eat it, because its low cal, I find that I do see a noticeable improvement in my nails.
