Okay, so I finally took my bd pics and it was actually very fun. Sorry I have not written yet but I have been sick and unfortunately was sick the day of my session. My photographer was very fun, accomodating, and easy to get to know. Her choice of angles was awesome and she really knows how to hide what you want to hide and show what you want to show! I do not have all pictures back yet but she did send me a teaser so it is below. If anyone is in the Dallas or Fort Worth area I highly recommend her. She will shoot in her studio which is kind of small but it did not bother me. She will also go to you if you prefer that. Her rates are extremely reasonable and they do your make up and hair as well. I rpobably would have changed my hair a bit, but I was more concerned with the fat areas! I think I posted her info somewhere else but here it is. I just got the news a few days ago too. I will tell you that Adriana was very nice and was extremely helpful when I was there at the resort last year however I have been waiting 2 MONTHS for her to answer two simiple questions. All my emails go un-answered and I am less than two months away. I have been extremely calm with the circumstances only because everyone has had such a great experience when they got to the resort for their weddings. However regardless of how close or far away you are from you wedding (which I consider mine to be close) I feel you should respond within at least 3 to 5 days from an email inquiry. I am in customer service and I require my staff to respond within 3 hours and they our not always at their desks. The lack of response so far in the process has really disappointed me. Anyway, Daniela has been an absoulte dream over the past few days as far as email response goes. I was nervous when I got the email from her as well but I basically outlined my wedding for her just in case. I sent her a list of my final questions and then a list of everything Adriana had already confirmed. She responded within the day and then we actually had a conversation through email (4 emails back and forth in the same day) which has never happened there before! I had to hold on to my chair! I feel relieved and am happy about the change so far! Hope everyone else is having the same experience. BTW...there is also a new director of the hotel that starts this month as well.

Hopefully it will be a breeze! I am taking about 70 starfish so I am not sure if I will keep them together and take the receipt or split them into several bags with others and if some don't make it oh well.

Do you know who their musicians are? I want a classical trio, but I want to hear samples of the music first and be able to find out what they play.

I am having trouble getting answers on some of my final questions from Adriana and wanted to see if any of you Riu Cabo brides can help me! I would greatly appreciate it because I am going crazy waiting for answers! 1. If you want to hire a classical trio or classical guitarist for the ceremony and cocktail hour do you have to hire from their specific vendors or can you hire whoever you would like? I ask this because I had to choose from a list of photographers so I am not sure what to do and she has not gotten back to me. 2. Also, does anyone know how many people can be seated on the terrace of the Mexican Restaurant? We have 60 guests confirmed already and could get a few more. I have rented the restaurant for the eveing and I know the entire restaurant can seat up to 80 people but I really did not want to seat people inside and outside. I wanted them to all be together with us. 3. I know I can bring in my own champagne but do they charge corkage fee? 4. Has anyone shipped any of their reception decor to the resort? Thank you so much to anyone that has answers!!!
