Hi Erynn! I was also a RIU bride, and loved every minute of it. I agree, you've got to start from day one of your planning to request all your guests to be in the same area, and esp. if you want one side of the resort or the other. For future brides - I do not know of anybody who actually gets the upgrade. If it's in your budget, just go for the better room to begin with and then you won't be disappointed. Congrats!

Morning Drea! Congrats on the legal part ~ I think we all get nervous at the legal part. I was actual more nervous for that than I was in Cabo. Great pics!

Sarah, Your pictures are amazing, I love the one on the steps. It's so romantic, and it really was captured so that you look like you are just having a moment. This time, it's your pictures bringing back great memories for me.

I agree, the prints were not my main concern. I did make sure that I own the rights to all my photographs - to me this was important. I didn't want to have to contact my photographer everytime I wanted something. So now I am the proud owner of 4 DVD's of my photos - the great, good, bad, and just plain ugly. Then we also received 2 black leather albums for about 600 4x6 "proofs" (or prints) they are very nice albums, but I will still do a coffee table book. Still waiting to be purchased are 2 large (i want to say ??x20) canvas prints that as soon as my pictures are online we will get those. Hope this helps some.

Sarah, Thanks for sharing. It looks like a wonderful time, you look so in love with each other. And I actually liked reading the comments, it's like I was there.

How Fun! Although, I agree brave to do it right before the wedding, but maybe that makes it even more exciting??

Welcome! I was just married at the RIU on June 23rd, and we could not have been happier. You will have a lovely time. Let me know if you have any questions. Congrats & Good Luck!

For the wedding, the WC at the RIU had people from the RIU in charge- I gave her the list of what I wanted played when. Then we they set up for dinner, I told her to turn on the dinner playlist. We had our first dance song as it's own playlist. After dinner, for the reception/dancing portion, we turned it ourselves onto that playlist and just let it go. If we weren't "feeling" the song, either Jason or I or one of our guests would just go change it. It helps to make different playlists for each portion.

Congrats! I really like the photo of you two on the bench and everybody is around you. Looks like everybody had a great time.
