  1. Do I have the mothers seated before Jason goes down the aisle, or is he supposed to go down first and then have the mothers seated? I'm thinking if he goes down first, then I have his mom, then mine, then Ryan can take his place by Jason. Then the girls, then me. Is this right? Why am I having brain fade?
  2. Here is the printable version of our welcome letter. The welcome tags were done in Adobe Photoshop Elements, and if I flatten them to post them on here you won't be able to use them. Right now, they are about 6 layers. You have to do the layers in order to get everything just right.
  3. You look great! I really love the side gathering on the dress.
  4. Everybody looks so happy. And I agree with Jilly, the flower girls are way to cute. I can't wait to see your pro pics.
  5. That's really nice Kash! Sexy and sweet at the same time. I haven't even thought about what I might wear the night of. Jay's not big into lingerie, so I might just wear my wedding ring.

But it's like Jay says - "Rae, it's the sun, sand, and beach, how can you not have a good time?" Quote: Originally Posted by jilly76 Your scrapbooks are fantastic!!! I also some some things at Michaels & walmart, do they sell good stuff or is it junk? I started SB'ing by using CM, so I am partial to their products. It's like anything else, you get what you pay for. I love their albums, and will not use anything else. As for stuff at Mike's & AC Moore, if you stick with the "big" names (Chatterbox, SEI, Bazzill, etc) you will be fine. The biggest thing is to look for items that are acid/lignen free and buffered if you can find them. If you don't use acid/lignen free, your pages will turn yellow after a while. Thanks for the other templete - I am going to play with it now! Congrats on the new home & the puppy! What kind of puppy did you get? You are my idol, I'm more like the DIY princess, you are still the queen. The slides were done just to post on the board, yea I know, like I have nothing else to do. :-)

They will go into a large 12x12 album, and the pages are only 6x6. Quote: Originally Posted by tvt I love this idea! I would have never thought of it!! 8. What if you did a small picture frame with everybody's name inside it? That would match with the picture frame centerpieces then. You could still color code them by using cardstock where the picture goes and you could put their names on that?? Or, you could simply put a lily at each spot, tied with ribbon with their names on it We had also at one point thought of doing the nicer luggage tags at each persons spot.
  9. Do you have a "theme" about your wedding? I can't remember. If I was going to do place cards, I was going to do small starfish on a string, that would also have their names on them, then the starfish could have become an Christmas ornament on their trees or something. I can help you think of something, if you can remind me a little bit about your day.

If you could post the templetes for what you made that would be so helpful. (I am especially interested in the welcome card and wedding day timeline!) Again, GREAT JOB - I know your guests are going to be amazed by your tallent! Hey Stranger! I haven't seen you here in forever.... I have attached my template for the timeline and by the welcome cards, do you mean the welcome letter or the tags on the OOT bags? The timeline takes some time to work with - it's text boxes inside of text boxes, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty slick.
  11. I got some more of the display pages done... Here is the scrapbook album I will use, and then our personalized cups:

I think I will do the guest book pages like yours, that will be a nice addition to the book and the only other guestbook we have is our fiesta donkey, lol, so I'd like something else too! thanks again! I would love to help you out... There's a lot of "junk" out there, and I would hate to see you make an investment only to have it fall apart in 5 years. Here's a link to my album(s) on 2peas - it's a huge scrapbooking sight. These links should take you to the Cabo album I did for last years trip. Two Peas PeaNut Gallery Two Peas PeaNut Gallery

I'm working on more today, so I'll add them as soon as I get a chance.

Your guest book pages, are you going to use those in a scrapbook or are you making just a seperate guest book with them. I ask this because I have been thinking about making a scrapbook for our trip to mexico and our wedding (I have never done one before & am not that creative) so I was wondering if thats how you were planning to use them or not I am going to include them in our scrapbook of the trip. I will use all the photos that I take from the week, and maybe a few of the pro pics, but mostly just mine. My pages are 6x6, and so I will be able to fit 2 of them on a 12x12 scrapbook page. If you have any questions, about scrapbooking, feel free to PM me. I love to scrapbook, I've been doing it since 2002. 2. Not really a question, but I loved how you asked guests to share photos, I wanted to do the same thing and wasn't sure how so this really helps! 3. Where did you get the template for your wedding day timeline, its really cute & I'd like to do one. There is a website that I used to get the template for the timeline, let me see if I can find it, otherwise, I can up load mine, and you are more than welcome to it. Thanks for your help!! Nice job with everything! I have answered your questions above... As soon as I can find the timeline template, I'll upload it for you.
  16. Part of Jay's wedding gift - the B-pics. I'm still torn between the Tag watch or the Bose headset for the airplane.
  17. For the ceremony & reception... Here's the wording for on the table by the guest cards: From each of your experiences, Comes a very treasured gift, A piece of knowledge, We didn’t know exists. Please share with us your Wisdom, About marriage, love, and life, How to be a loving husband, Or the perfect wife. Please write your Thoughts and wishes To share with us for life For the greatest gift of all, Is the gift of your advice.
  18. More DIY Paper for the OOT Bags: I really like the idea of everybody sharing their photos so I'm asking them with this card. Here is the wording: See & Share Your Photos If you are taking digital photos this weekend, wouldn’t you be so kind as to share them with us and others? Log onto Kodakgallery.com*: Print, Store & Share Digital Photos—Order Kodak Prints, Photo Books, Cards & Gifts & create an album for your photos. Don’t have a digital camera? Ask for a CD of your photos, which can then be uploaded to an online album. We can then link them to our wedding website for everyone to see.
  19. For the guests, OOT Bags, DIY paper projects etc... In the OOT bags, we'll put the cups (2 per person), chapstick, travel candles, DIY Paper info, and some other random things I've picked up along the way. Welcome Letter: I got the wording for the welcome letter from a Knottie (mrspresley, I think)... Here it is: Dear Family and Friends, The wait is finally over! Welcome to sun, sand and relaxation… welcome to Cabo San Lucas! We are both so happy and feel very blessed to be able to have our wedding here at the RIU Palace! We are especially honored that you have traveled this far to be a part of our marriage celebration. Included is some information to help make your stay a wonderful experience. Enjoy the "goodies" included in this welcome bag. They are just a small token of our appreciation. Please make the most of your stay here in Cabo San Lucas. We hope that the next few days will be as memorable for you as it will be for us. With Love and Appreciation, Stephanie & Jason
  20. Our Save The Date: We never did do a formal invite, but I did 3 newsletter, and figured that was enough.
