  1. Holy crap! That is very disturbing. What if she already has a Melissa & John shrine at home & she just wants to finish it off with weddig pics?
  2. Oops, sorry about that Lisa! I am personally a big fan of impromptu speeches, so I probably wouldn't stress out too much. Just go with the flow. Something along the lines of "James & I are so blessed to have such amazing friends and family. Thank you for making the journey to join us at the begining of our life journey. Cheers!"
  3. Sarah - I didn't say a damn thing! The nice thing about being married is that your husband can speak for both of you Rafael stood up at some point during dinner & basically thanked everybody for making the trip to spend our special day with us. The fun part for me was hearing what everybody else stood up to say to us, the happy couple.
  4. Aww, thanks girls. I haven't been able to figure out how to share the ultra cool slide show Bradley did for us. I think I'll just upload the pics he used tonight so you can see it - it's a great representation of the day...

  7. Tara - I will repeat here what I said in another post. DON'T WORRY ABOUT THESE PEOPLE SO MUCH! THEY ARE ADULTS. THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES!! Don't put so much pressure on yourself.
  8. Umm, I'll just grow pot to raise money, that's much easier. LOL!

  10. Courtney has offered great advice. We chose a DW because we wanted an intimate event. As such, we only invited people that are really important to us. We strictly outlawed the "courtesy invite." In the end we had a small, yet most excellent group of people attend our wedding. You should think about what you want your wedding to feel like/look like. Who MUST be there? Invite those people! If you want a larger wedding, invite everybody. But, definitely come to an agreement with your FI before you start sending out STD's...

Haha...omg you are cracking me up. OK, well I could do your bookkeeping and taxes if you'll clean my house. And Glenda could be very useful with her legal services, keeping us all out of trouble and what not. But, um, what do we do for food?

WHEW! anyway - great post. really puts things into perspective for everyone. thanks! Holy Crap Ann! Stop multi-tasking already!
  13. Tammy - totally know what you are going through! We have a cat & a dog at home & my mom left an entire stable of horses (I'm talking 15!) and a dog and 3 cats behind to go to Cabo. The best advice I can offer is asking a friend or neighbor to help you out. We had our next door neighbor feed our girls am & pm and take the dog for walks when he could. Cat's are pretty self sufficient, so I wouldn't worry too much about Morris.
  14. Well, I'm glad this has helped! I think it was theraputic for me to process all of those thoughts.
  15. This board is so awesome! I wonder how much that puppy costs?? Also, as per usual, I love how the model is in the "I have to pee really bad" pose!
  16. I finally looked at the slide show. Oh my gosh, you guys had so much fun! I love the 2 girls in the limo all passed out on eachother...good times~!

  18. I think that may be a Monique Lhuillier. Definitely see if Sol knows. You could also do a google image search on "monique lhuillier lace" and see what you get.
  19. Oh, totally. You submit your order, and then they email you an art proof for approval. They will not print your koozies until you confirm the art is correct, or submit changes.
  20. We did not hire a pro videographer, but I am SO GLAD that 2 of our guests took video of the ceremony & reception. I can't wait to see it! Namely, because I cannot recall exactly what I said for my vows. Rafael did such a beautiful job with his that I was a complete mess when it was my turn. I want to know what the heck I said!!! So, my advice would be to have it done - even if it's just the ceremony.
  21. You can pretty much put whatever you like in em! Ours fit cans & bottles. some of the beer bottles in mexico were too skinny, so the koozie would fall off once in a while, but no biggy. Plastic cups from our honeymoon resort fit perfectly!
  22. Pre-congrats Stacey! Does your soon to be FI know that you know??
  23. Yes - definitely spring for the collapsables! I wish I had...
