  1. Bradley Fraser is a member of the Wedding Photo Journalists Association. I used him because I wanted that style of photography, and I was very happy with the results.

Maria - I am a little surprised to hear the negative feedback, as we had a stellar experience. I'm also confused about people paying in advance. I actually assumed they would want me to, and when I asked they said "don't worry about it, just pay when we see you." Of course I was concerned they wouldn't show up, but they did. My husband made a good point about payment - when the driver dropped us off at our restaurant, I thought we should pay him then with the thought that maybe he wouldn't come back if I didn't pay him at that point. My hubby said "no, you pay at the end of the night, that way he has to come back for us to get his money!" Duh!
  3. Hmmm, this is interesting. I used Ixchel to shuttle my group from Cabo Surf & surrounding condos to our welcome dinner & back. They were not only on time, but early. Our driver was courteous and informative. Another interesting point: WE DID NOT PAY IN ADVANCE. We got a quote for $13 per person and paid at the end of the night. Based on my experience I would recommend them.
  4. Angela! Congrats & welcome home. Where are your pics?? I'm dying here!
  5. Awww, thanks Rebecca! Yeah, my visions of hair like yours weren't realistic, but I am very happy w/how it turned out. How are you??
  6. Aww! That is so great you have pics of that moment. I remember having that same non-stop smile! Crying, giggling, smiling. Ahh, memories....
  7. Well, knowing is half the battle Sarah! I know, it's painful, huh? You did so many special things though - your guests are gonig to be so impressed!
  8. Heidi - Only $400 for open bar for 40 ppl?
  9. Great pic Stephanie. And, I had the same thing happen at my shower with the cake - I never even had a bite!! Wussup with that?
  10. Well, my hubby is a major watch lover/collector. I did originally buy him a really cool diving watch, but I wanted to do something different - so I returned the watch & ended up getting him a money clip with our names & wedding date engraved on it. He loves it.
  11. Awww! Mishi - everything looks so great! And I love the colors you used (ok, I'm a little partial to aqua!). Can't wait to hear the story behind the pics.
  12. Yay! Wonderful - glad it worked out!

Generally they cleanse your skin & then use steam to open up your pores. If you have blackheads they will do what they call "extractions" - which is just a fancy term for squeezing out the blackheads. Then they will do some sort of exfoliation & mask. If you want to do a glycolic peel they do that, then moisturize & massage your face/hands & your done.

I don't use Retin-A, but I use Triluma for hyperpigmentation & it is like $120/tube in the US. While in Cabo, I picked up two smaller tubes that would equate to a bit more than the large tube & only paid like $65. RetinA is much cheaper - so stock up!
  15. The other thing you could try is to request a quote for CaboMax thru a local coordinator & see what you get. OR, your coord could always just say "I have read that your rate is $850/hour, has it changed recently?"
  16. Jill - are you wanting to hire the 4 man band or just the twins? I believe Tasha paid $500/hour for The Twins.
  17. No, no, no Tammy! Not what I meant. I just stuffed some tissue in there to have it handy - and it did come in handy since I'm pretty sure I started crying before I even walked down the aisl!
  18. I am just so excited to hear you use that word! Sometimes we call Annie, our chihuahua, "retarda" - not even so sure that's a spanish word, but we make up words that sound spanish! We are dorks. good plan on printing out the vows - very good plan. Oh, and tuck some tissue in your boob area of your dress - you will need it.
  19. Ummmm.....I have no idea Tammy! I really don't. Whatever it was it was nice ... I feel like such a dork!
  20. Tammy - do you say "chanklas" for flip flops?? We like that word at our house Back to the vows - it really is so special if you can write your own vows. I will warn you though - definitely write them down & take them with you to the ceremony. I thought I had mine all memorized & stuff...well, after listening to R's beautiful words, I essentially forgot what I was supposed to say. I wish I'd had a cheat sheet.
  21. Tammy - I think it's beautiful! It's from your heart, it's personal and that is exactly what matters
  22. OK, here's my opinion: -I love the waist line detail, the gathering is extremely flattering. -The top part seems a little too big for you, maybe. If it were me I would have the halter straps narrowed a bit to match your proportions. -I think I would take the tulle of the side too. Overall, I think you got a fantastic deal! And with the proper alterations this could be a great dress. NOW, how do you feel about the dress??
