Hey guys!! Sorry I've been out of this thread for awhile. I see that SO much has been going on! So much stress Josie and Lisa! I'm also very surprised/not pleased with all of the nickel and diming that is going on, but as someone said earlier, we will probably forget all about it when all is said and done. I have a bit of drama of my own going on in regards to the photographer. As I previously suspected, I wasn't able to come up with the downpayment to reserve her until Oct 1st, but she is no longer available for our date! So I have already sent out the save the dates, with imprinted shotglasses and cards, for July 6th. She is available on the 7th though, so we are hoping it all works out, even though we have to change the date. OH WELL!

I still have to post pics of my STD's, I have been SO busy and SICK as well. I was in a wedding last weekend, and it was so gorgeous! It defnitely helped with my 'wedding fever'. However, in the haste of checking out, I left my BM dress hanging in the closet!! Can you believe that! And I could have totally worn it again, it was from Anthropologie. The hotel claims that they didn't find it. Drama drama drama. My own fault of course.

Anyway- Glad to be back, and to get all of these great new details. We have some weddings coming up to hear about and see photos of! So excited!

Okay, sorry ladies but I need to vent! So last week I had sent Ael and email about wedding stuff and I am still waiting to hear back. It's very frustrating because I want to know what is going on.

Ael had told me that if the group was 70 or more people then you paid $1900 for the chili's private dinner and you got it from 7pm-11pm. This has a choice of either, and international buffet, a mexican buffet or plate service (for $25 more per person) I would rather do this with the mexican buffet from 7-11 for $200 more then wait until 8:45pm for our dinner. anyway this is what I am waiting to find out because she had to check with management to see if that was allowed. Honestly, I am paying more for it, why wouldn't it be allowed?

Hopefully this all makes sense.....

Josie - did you book your spa stuff yet? what all are you getting done at the spa?

Wow! I'm really surprised to hear that! First, I didn't know that Chili's even had a buffet as a choice...I thought that if you had it there, it was their regular menu. And I agree...if you're paying more for it, then why would they even have to think about if they're going to let you do it!?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
