I test drove one and I like it but I'm just not sure....it is hard to decide b/c at this point ANY new car is better than my '98 Accord w/ 168,000 miles on it lol!

I actually really like it. My old car had more power (yeah I'm a car girl so the more power the better) but over all I'm very happy with the car, it drives really well, corners good, love the heated seats and of course one of my favorite features of the car is the interior lights.. :-) (their blue, my Fav color)

I used to own a Passat (2 cars back) and since that car I loved the VW line, you really do get alot of car for your money.. What other cars are you thinking about? The Jetta's have 8 airbags, so that was a good selling point for me since we are trying to have a baby, Plus it's pretty cheap on insurance compared to my old car (Altima 3.5)

I have narrowed my options down to: Jetta, Altima, Mazda6, Ford Fusion, or another Accord (but it will have to be used, I can't afford a new one). You are right about the Jetta, getting alot of car for the $$. I think the only thing that bothered my was the power, everything else I drove was a V6.

Sorry for the hijack ladies, but it is my Christmas present.... I got a bunch of other junk, but I am just saying it's "junk" because the only thing I wanted was a ring which I didn't get..... sad.gif but I guess a new car is good too :)

ROFL....DH is starting at me wondering why I'm laughing at the computer!

I have to agree with you ladies on the Jetta topic. I am thinking of trading in my gas hog xterra for a car, but I am looking at used cars, because I'd really like to have a really low payment. And the prices on used Jettas were fantastic! I really love the saab 9-3's (not a new one), but to get one in the price range I want, it would be a little older than the jetta I could get.

My sister just bought a brand new jetta and loves it.

my husband gave me a nail gun - woohoo and a bunch of construction stuff but the real present is hes going to fix up my storage space in my office so i can function better and not have stacks of stuff laying around.

my grandpa gave me a car. its not one we would use so were going to sell it and buy something more practical for us. its a crysler 300. its 2 years old but looks brand new. 18k miles. he has alzheimers and has finally resigned himself to the fact he cant drive anymore.

the best gift i got was spending a week with my grandpa for christmas. although one morning i forgot to put water in the coffee maker and he told me i was going to be fired wink.gif

You just got me all teared up Leigh. I would give all my gifts (even the plasma) to spend a week with my grandpa. That's awesome you got to do that. I'm so happy for you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
