Thanks everyone!!! Okay...as Jen asked, here are my thoughts!

I REALLY wish that I could have taken pics at the bridal outlet yesterday!! First off the lady had me look at the dresses that were being sold as is which were supposed to be cheaper! I didn't like most of those and the reason I think is because they were NOT tight around my hips!! I didn't hate them but the best word I could come up with was that I felt "frumpy". Then I told her I wanted to look at the ones that can be ordered. So she showed me those racks and my sister and I picked 4 of those! I loved these!! I know the reason why is because it's similar to the maggie sottero material and almost identical to the pronovia material from the dresses I tried on last weekend and they were all very tight fitting in the hip area but yet still flowed!

My sister agreed that these were her favorite too and surprisingly they were only like $599 and $679 or something like that! So we put 2 on the list and left (they wouldn't tell me anything about the designers either! sad.gif )

Then at Davids, I was looking through the racks and kinda told the sale girl what I was looking for but I never explain myself well, so I'm sure I didn't make much sense. So I really didn't look through the whole store, just the 3 aisles she led me to. The problem with the dresses at davids were that they were now too simple I think from the ones I was trying on before and the material just wasn't flattering. I didn't even feel good in them and I got that "frumpy" feeling again. Also, I think I have decided for sure that I want Ivory instead of white because I think that was throwing me off a bit too since I am a very visual person and every single dress I tried in white I hated!

Now my sisters thought were right in line with mine at the other place but then it seemed at Davids that she really liked those and she kept saying that she thought the simplicity of the ones there were more "appropriate" for the location (beach) than the other store because those were a little more formal and beaded (which I never thought I wanted)!!! I kinda thought she might be saying it too because of the price but we were only talking like a $200 difference. So I felt like she really wanted me to pick one of the simplier DB ones and that she wasn't understanding that I just didn't feel comfortable in them!

So, long story, but I need to make a decision soon and I think I need to go one more time by myself ( I just like it better) and think about them all. I know I need to go with what I want and not what my sister thinks...but now she has me thinking that maybe I should wear a dress that is more formal or had beading??

I never thought this would be so complicated! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
