@@Sheaka and @@bitbitz, thank you ladies.

@@bitbitz, me too. It was not easy and I still find myself questioning my pick, but that's because I'm a very indecisive person sometimes. Don't worry though, you'll find it and you'll love it. Good luck!

@@smileitseb, I am beyond excited for you so I can't even imagine the level that you must be at right now. Holy cow 29 days!!

I see that you did end up with 60 guests. What pkge did you take and are you doing the plated or buffet? What time is your ceremony? I would love to see it through the web cam. So exciting!! I bet you can't wait for it to hurry up and get here already. lol

Are you all set with everything? How was the planning stages with the planners so far?

@@desmiv Thanks so much girl!!! 30 days til I do and 27 til we leave :)

Someone just dropped out yesterday (i hope there are NO more changes ugh lol) so we have 59 guests now :) We have the Dreams of Love package, the Ultimate package seemed to have a lot of stuff I didn't need. We are doing the buffet, originally BBQ but I just found out another bride is getting food from each of the buffets so I'm going to try to do the same thing! My ceremony is at 5 you should definitely watch!!! I'm soo excited I could scream lol

Everything is pretty set, well the big things. waiting on a few more things to get here for my welcome bags, have to get married, finalize menu, arrange transportation, finish our vows, finish ceremony script, get bikinis and cover ups, dress fitting, finalize music, finalize timeline, make welcome letter, itinerary and meet the guests cheat sheet, finish the wedding planner form, buy extra luggage, get ring cleaned.................LOL i guess I have a lot more to do but I know it will get done :)

oh and the mister needs to get his shirt, suspenders, tie, and shoes for the wedding lol. oh and our white outfits (we are having an all white welcome reception)

I see you are 14 months out, never too early to get started!!!

Thanks for sharing... we have approximately 41 guest and I think it's interesting you aren't going with Ultimate package. What have you decided about cocktail hour music or did you switch that out for something else?

Does anyone or did any of the past brides use real touch (silk) flowers for their bridal parties bouquets? If so where did you find a deal at?

Funny thing I coordinate weddings on the side and I have a client getting married Sept 20th in Chicagoland area. It's actually keeping me calm on things for my own wedding since I have to keep my client *the bride* stress-free. Ha!

@@pddcmc thank you for the packing list. I was looking for one of these. I'm so nervous about leaving something. One thing that I saw as a recommendation is to create a packing sheet for each suitcase so that you can double check your bags when you arrive.

@@smileitseb I can't wait to see your review of your experience with the makeup and hair peeps. I'm super nervous.

Is anyone taking items with them for decorations? How are you transporting? I'm taking some lanterns and am nervous about checking them because I don't want the glass to break. Also, what about bringing your decorations back to town. Are you shipping them back or carrying them yourselves?

Thanks and Happy Monday!

I will put maps in the bags. Have you guys already started working on your letter to the guests? Any extras planned?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
