Can someone clarify bringing real touch (silk bouquets) to DRC for the bridesmaid. I'm trying to save my budget... I have 5 bridesmaid and can't see paying the extra cost for bouquet for them. I rather use that money on decor. So are we allowed to bring silk flowers bouquets... I can't see the harm in that. -
@@smileitseb Positive thoughts! I tell my clients (brides) all the time... never stress about 'rain'... we only talk about the beauty of the day. Keep shining and take a deep breath and continue to work on your to do list. (Hug)

@@Sheaka I believe you mentioned you had 30+ people but aren't going with the Ultimate package. Since you aren't having a cocktail hour and makeup and hair and other tidbits the Ultimate offers. The Buffet from Silver plated is more... is that correct ? Or does it wash? And does anyone know if calculating from plated to buffet if I have 40 guest...whether I multiply the upgrade charge by the entire 40 or multiply only the additional over 20.

Need clarity on guest booking outside of travel agent. Do anyone know whether or not that matters in regards to perks we'll receive from the resort? I have three couples that booked on their own (outside of the travel agent).. my thoughts are as long as I'm able to supply Dreams with their confirmation number... I should the credit they are with my group. Right? And by perks I mean upgraded room and hopefully upgraded room for our parents. And whatever else. I'm only concerned due to the travel agent being sick..my guest are opt to go with their own travel agent. Room rates are still climbing.

Makeup and Hair Options for the week has beyond stress me out. My hair is mid length and after a couple days my curls get difficult to manage. I'm hoping by December my hair grows out of the bob cut. Because I know me... if my hair isn't right nothing will feel and look right and it'll be written all over my face. Boo!

Thanks for sharing... we have approximately 41 guest and I think it's interesting you aren't going with Ultimate package. What have you decided about cocktail hour music or did you switch that out for something else? Does anyone or did any of the past brides use real touch (silk) flowers for their bridal parties bouquets? If so where did you find a deal at? Funny thing I coordinate weddings on the side and I have a client getting married Sept 20th in Chicagoland area. It's actually keeping me calm on things for my own wedding since I have to keep my client *the bride* stress-free. Ha!

Love it! I jus saw the maraca key chains and I saw maraca ink pens. Im drawing straws now on which one. Lol I jus returned from Dollartree and purchased one of the power blue tote bag. Gonna let it sit around the house and see if it grows on me before deciding if I want to go that route or something else. Thanks for sharing!

Are your paper bags about this size? Did you get different color paper bags or stick to your wedding colors? I was thinking about these bags from the dollar with labels on the handles. I hate I can't pick the color but I figure since Mexico was a festival colorful place I jus go with it. I still have time to look for other ideas. Also can you give me the information on the Maracas. Where to order and how to get them to Dreams. Thanks Here's the pic of the bag...

What did you decide on the OOT bag? April 2014 I went to a friends wedding in Jamaica and all of the ladies carried around the OOT bag the entire weekend.... even though when I got home I never used it again. I worry about that with my guest and think maybe I shouldn't spend to much on the actual bag.

I opened up a Capital One 360 Checking Account due to Capital One doesn't charge Foreign Transaction Fees on their Debit /Credit Cards. If you have a regular Capital One Credit Card they also don't charge foreign transaction fees. I also read in the confirmation package on page 10 under decoration and other service that a carpeted walkway is included in both the gazebo and beach setup. That's there way of saying aisle runner from what I was told. But verify if you can.

Seaside Grill has always been my number one reception choice. After seeing your pictures I'm willing to say no to the lighted dance floor and put that money towards the Seaside Grill rental fee. How was the weather at night? I really would like any past Nov,Dec,Jan, and Feb brides to chime in on how cool it gets at night and also I'm curious on two weddings on the same day what the plan is for two receptions going on at same time. Does the music clash from the receptions.

Welcome home Bride. Sorry our weather has been a mess. Below zero temps for the last couple of days. Soooooo excited to hear that you had a Wonderful and Beautiful Wedding. Soooooo I jus got confused. Lol If you go with an outside photographer what happens to the money within the package for that photographer? For instance I'm paying for the Ultimate package. Photography comes with the package ... it a small package but it's something . Are the brides that are using outside photographers getting anything in return or something offset or using the photography services a different day or for trash the dress??? Something??? I need to explain this to the fiancé before jumping on the whole we need to research outside photographers bandwagon. Thanks!

We were going to do a booze cruise but looks like everyone won't be arriving until Thursday... wedding is on a Friday. So it won't work out timing wise. Having a Welcome Party at one of the bars... I like the Jacazzi idea. Did that cost you more to do it there?
