@tasha682 - no thanks needed!  That's going to look great! My sister went that route. She picked up a simple but elegant set with a rice paper overlay at Staples.  We worked on the wording etc and word template, then had Staples print them up & invited a couple of people over to help us tie the ribbons on at the top. No one would have ever guessed she didn't have them professionally done.

@trbutler OMG Yours turned out AMAZING!!!!!! And $50 for 50, you can't beat that. Does that include the envelopes you purchased and the starfish charm? Love love love

Yes that includes the paper, envelopes, and charms.  I printed them at home, but purchased most of the items at Michaels or AcMoore and used 50% off coupons.  I got the pocketfolds from paperandmore.com and was lucky enough that the color I wanted was in their Almost Perfect section, when I got them 2 weeks ago they were $4 cheaper, they were $26.99 for 50.  The card stock was from Michaels and I used a 50% off coupon.  The charms came from Etsy and I also got some from AC Moore and used a 50% off coupon.

I found that when I needed several things from Michaels and AC Moore it was helpful to take my fiance or step daughter to help buy more then one thing with the 50% off coupons.

The only thing it didn't include was the postage.

You could also take a look at vistaprint. Not quite as elegant, but they do have some destination/beach wedding designs that might work, and they have the whole matching set with menu card, reply card, etc. And they always have discount coupons.

Worth a look. You can get quite creative with some of the designs and colours.

Happy planning!

Thanks for providing websites, I am creative but I want my invites to be fabulous so that people will hurry up and start their payments. Plus you will always see something that looks better than what you created.

@ChristienEarnest What type of invites are you interested in? Classic or Passpot?

I like the passport types but I also like the classic.

We're using Minted for ours. They aren't as cheap as some like Vistaprint, but I thought the prices were very reasonable and the designs are much more creative

catprint.com - more paper variety than vistaprint! Also they can send you a sample of their papers so you can see the texture/weight
