Just curious if anyone is doing this..because I am cheap and trying to cut cost by not having much color or decor...I was thinking about making menus on colored paper to match my colors to put at each place setting, maybe in a pocket folded napkin?
if not a menu, maybe something else but I don't know what? Like a thank you note or something?

Is anyone printing menus to place at each table setting?

I don't know if we are doing menus We are not doing a site trip so we'll be picking the dinner when we get there before the wedding. I don't know how I would make them before hand unless the resort can do that for us. I've seen a lot of people do them though and it is a nice touch if you decide to do it. A thank you would be cute too though, and that is something I have never seen before.

I was also thinking about doing menus, but I contacted my WC at RIU and she said they put their menus at everyones seat. A thank you note would be really cute too!

We are definitely putting menus. i always think they look really nice and so many people have food allergies or picky eating habits they like to know what they are getting!

I want to do menus too but I can't seem to find a cheap way to do it. Anyone have a good online paper store that sells nice cardstock at a reasonable price? I am a picky eater with a lot of allergies...so a menu is very much appreciated at these sort of things!!

I know the restaurant I'm having my reception at does this for me.. it's included in the pricing. I pick the options that I want for appy, salad, 3 main courses etc.. and the restaurant makes up a special menu with my choices. Maybe check if they will do this for you or if it's included in your pricing already..?

Here's a pic of what I did for my welcome dinner:

The menus for my wedding were similar, except they were simpler paper with a fancier font.

I made them for our welcome dinner and our reception. The welcome dinner are plain - just black print on blue paper. The reception are only the slightest bit fancier. They are red cardstock background, blue card stock with black print, and they are tied together with raffia.
Cheap and easy way to get your colors on the table.
