Ok. I borrowed a few of the templates that you gals have posted....but I'm quite confused (I'm not gonna lie, it doesn't take much these days)! Are the boarding pass templates boxes over boxes over boxes to make the right shape? Once I'm done page 1, how do I copy and paste so I have another one to work on if I want to personalize each boarding pass? Even when you have the template its still very hard to do these.

I really am jealous of all you creative people who can whip these up, and monograms (I haven't even attempted those yet), and they look awesome!!

I know I had a lot of textboxes on my passes if that is what you mean. It was easier to have more than one so I could position them properly. If you want you can just hold donw Control button and "A" (This will select everything on your one page) and then Control & "C" to copy everything. Once you have a new page up where you want everything to go hold down the Control button and "V" to paste everything. Hope that helps!

I don't know if I can help, but when I did mine I just changed each one. I did not copy and paste.

I set up a template using rounded rectangle boxes. I grouped them together and copied & pasted them for other pages. I used the grouping tool A LOT with these! Good luck and try to have fun!

I also did the rectangle round edged business! And I grouped things A LOT! It made it so much easier. But, you can still change the text after it's grouped.

I had difficulty with this as well. I think at one point I just used a template that already had 3 on a page and just started adding and making my own changes...I'm also not that creative!

I did the same thing as some of the other girls - I changed the names manually instead of copying and pasting. I can't seem to post my template, but I'm glad to email it to you if you'd like. If you're printing your own at home, this method doesn't seem to take that much more time ... especially if you are printing on the backs, too. As one set was printing, I was changing the names on the next. However, if you have a large guest list and / or are planning to have them printed at Kinko's or somewhere else ... then this may not work for you.

I found that it was frustrating in the beginning - getting used to grouping, ordering, etc. - but once you play around - it gets easier!

              Good luck!

I used the template emailed to me by one of the girls, and then made changes to each individual pass.

I copied and pasted one pass to a new Word doc to make/print the RSVP postcard, though, b/c I used a different color and card stock fot that.

The process is time consuming any way you look at it, but the end result is well worth the time, effort and money-savings!

thanks for all your help ladies. I actually ended up taking a print screen of only the outside lines. then i pasted it into paint, and copied it back into word as one object/picture. that worked a million times better for me!!

                    Heidi, those are awesome!
