That's why i'm having a hard time making decisions...I want flowers and a veil....lol.  Now the decorative jewelry headpieces have intrigued me too!

I did both- a decorative hair band and a cathedral veil. I had a first look without the veil. I put the veil put in the middle of the back of my head with the decorative hair band across the top. I wore the veil for the ceremony and pictures after, then took it off for my reception. I wore it for a longer period of time during my AHR. I regret not taking it to my trash the dress. Definitely see what looks best with your dress. I love birdcage but it did not match my dress, and I love flowers. I ended up wearing a flower clip for my civil wedding 30 days before my DW, wearing a birdcage at my bridal shower (it was a tea party theme) and wearing the cathedral for our Catholic Church ceremony at the DW. Best way to satisfy all your desires! Wear em all lol why not? You're only a bride once.
Happily married to the love of my life- since July 5, 2013

This is so true Evknowsitall. That sounds like a great way to incorporate everything.

I read a good thing about how it's the only time in your life you can pull off a veil.. still don't know if I want one though :P

So true when else can you pull off a veil? I think I'm going to do it.

has anyone ever ordered a veil online? soo many cheapies on ebay etc.,

I figure since I'm unsure if I want to wear one I don't want to spend a lot.. thinking maybe I'll buy a cheap one and then make a last minute call.

I bought mine on Etsy, and it was a cathedral length for about $35. I was really happy with it.

Personally, I would say no veil. With wind and the elements it only seems like it will get in the way. I'm doing hair up with a pretty hair comb

I just ordered my cathedral length veil from etsy.com today. I tried one on at the bridal store that was $270. I wasn't willing to pay that but found some great deals on etsy. There are veils for very reasonable prices on the website. Can't wait to receive mine. I will let you know how it turns out!
